Our problems included brakes, engine replacement, driveline repair, and electrical. We have been very satisfied each time. Our Jeep brakes, for example, now have a lifetime warranty as do some of the other repairs. I have never encountered this elsewhere. Virg and the staff have been very good at explaining the recommended course of action and the alternatives. We have never had a hint of upselling there- and in a couple of instances, Virg shopped around to find the best price on an expensive part. I've been in shops where it looks like they want to turn a simple repair into a complete restoration, and it's no fun. As we recall, Virg's shop has been here for around 40 years. The mechanics have a little grey hair, and a lot of experience. It's the best shop in town.

My trailer broke down near this business, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing…read more I was charged approximately $2,000 just for them to bring their equipment out roughly 12 miles, and the invoice listed 21 miles. The repair also took nearly three times longer than the timeframe I was originally given. I was billed for 10 hours of labor, even though the work performed should not have taken that long. If I had access to my tools (which were buried in the trailer), I estimate I could have completed the repair in about five hours myself. Additionally, I was billed for labor related to items that were damaged during the repair process. I had purchased several parts and specifically requested that they be replaced on both sides. Not all parts were replaced as requested, and the unused parts were not returned to me. I picked the trailer up at 10:00 PM, and due to the late hour it was difficult to fully inspect the work at that time. In total, I was charged close to $4,000 for a tire, rim, and hub replacement. Based on the scope of work, I believe the cost was excessive for what was completed. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

We were stranded in a pretty remote rural area of Kansas, hours from home and with no idea who to contact for help. I have roadside assistance on our vehicle policy through State Farm and used their app to report the problem, and identity our location. The app then used their network to arrange for a towing service to respond. We were conected with Lucas Towing Of Kansas, LLC, a Veteran-owned business out of Salina, Kansas. They responded very promptly and were great in arranging not only the tow, but also for a ride for my wife and I. They kept in communication every step of the way and through the State Farm app we could "see" on a map how they were progressing in getting to us. Lucas, the owner, was great in speaking with me and ensuring we would be taken care of and had what we needed. Mary, who communicated with me on "the office stuff" was so friendly and patient with my questions. Ed, the tow driver, was a great guy and so helpful when he arrived, loaded the Tahoe up, and then made to haul to Hutchison, Kansas to a Chevrolet service center. Thanks to Lucas, Mary, and Ed! Our tow truck dumped our car off here and we crossed our fingers hoping we could get in to see someone the next morning. We didn't have high expectations since they were fully booked--but Joey and the team took pity on us and managed to squeeze us in and have us on the road again in 30 minutes. This sounds like it was no big deal, but really, it was a huge deal since (unbeknownst to us) BMW no longer provides a spare tire with their cars and since most businesses were already shutdown for the long weekend. Joey and the team were top notch and could not have been nicer, more professional, and understanding of the situation we were in. We'd give these guys 10 stars, but we seem limited to 5.
