We ended up utilizing extra services that we didn't even plan on using. They will replace your key fob here with their kits that they sell. We paid about $40 - $60 (I cannot recall the exact amount now)for a kit and for them to replace the FOB and make sure that it was working. All in all - it was a successful visit. If I needed to shop for batteries I would definitely come here again.

We recently needed a new battery and a tune-up for our generator. The sales clerk at Batteries Plus recommended a specific battery, which we purchased. We took the generator and the battery to a repair shop on Johnson Road. It took the shop 15 days to look at it, at which point they informed us that the battery recommended by the Batteries Plus sale clerk did not fit our generator. When we attempted to return the unopened battery to Batteries Plus, they refused to issue a refund or accept an exchange. The manager also reviewed the situation and upheld the refusal. They cited two reasons: 1. We were one day past their 14-day return window. 2. They claimed they could not accept a return on a dead battery (though they offered a warranty exchange for another one). (NOTE: The battery had lost its charge while sitting on the shelf) To make matters worse, the correct battery we actually need is half the price of the one the clerk originally sold us. Please be sure to double-check any battery before making a purchase from them, as their return policy is very strict and they did not accommodate a mistake made by their own staff and selling us a bad battery. Now Saturday I get to battery shed to return it at about 1:50pm at the car wash because they are in the middle of moving buildings and they aren't there. So I go to the old location and go back to the front door and this guy won't come to the door to talk to me and just yells they are close. On there websites it shows they close at 4 pm. I am trying to state my case but he isn't trying to hear me so I go back to my car to call and get no answer. I wait about 15 minutes and calls back and he answers and says they are closed and they close at 2pm. I told him I was just there a little before 2 and you told me that y'all were closed and also that it says the website that you close at 4pm. He says the website must have the wrong time and they are closed and open back up on Monday @ 9 am. Now I am heated I have made 2 trips from Salisbury to get this battery and gas ain't cheap. So now I am in limbo until Monday. Wish me luck!
