My Turbo was falling apart. Had that replaced , gaskets, rings, Cat. Converter, and pipe assembly.. I had went out of town left the car with them.. They worked on it 3 business days. I left it on a Friday, got it back on Wednesday.. It runs like a brand new car. Never knew it could ride so smooth and have such power to it.. I've had my car 8 years and this was the only major money I've put in it.. A lot of other repair shops were racking me over the coals by just guessing why my engine light keeps coming on and wanted to keep my car 2 to 3 days to guess what it was. If that's all you take from this review let it be that…read more I took my girlfriend's car for an alignment after I replaced the suspension (I am a certified mechanic) and when looking at the "recommended" services it included the engine air filter. When I looked at it myself I noticed that the tech had snapped the plastic off the box. I took the car back and pointed this out and after the manager called the tech to look at it the tech had the audacity to claim that "it was broken before it came in" I know this was not the case because I worked on the car the day of, and would have 100% noticed. Not only that, but you could see the bright white shiny filter through the crack he had just made. So the tech blatantly lied about that, and also lied about having checked the cabin air filter, because I had just replaced it a couple weeks prior and know that in no way did he take the time to check and just marked it as "urgent!" The shop did agree to replace the box, but being cheap did not do so with a new OEM Toyota part but instead bought a used and had the same tech install it and he broke this part too. Then tried to blame Toyota for making a cheap part. I know how this business goes, and know that these guys pray on customers who don't know anything about their car. If I had not called them out, my girlfriend would never have known that they broke her car (they also tried coming up with some bs about this not affecting anything). As seen in the attached picture that gap goes into the engine and they're out here saying "there's a screen that catches anything". Total bs In short, these guys lie, recommend unneeded replacements, and are overpriced.

First of all, I didnt think I would find a Meineke so close to where I live. It is literally within walking distance from my home, which made things much easier than I presumed. Its location is in Charlotte's "Plaza Midwood" area, just five minutes from uptown. Now, to paint a description of my car's condition before bringing it in would be a challenge, but lets just say it needed some serious maintenance. Lucky for me, they were running a "rainy day special"..and boy was it raining out that day! As I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly man behind the desk. He walked me through the special, which included an oil change, wind shield wipers, tire rotation, air, and fluids topped off all for 59.00! In my mind, this could not be true because Toyota was charging me the same price for just an oil change. Sure enough I learned that I was getting ripped off at Toyota! The man told me it would take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to finish my car, which was great because I didn't even make an appointment. I ended up spending that time at my friends house that was on the same street. After an hour, I received a phone call letting me know that my car was complete. I am not lying when I tell you that my car drove like it was brand new again. After my wonderful experience, I no longer need to go years without maintenance, and found that they can provide a pleasant experience to the auto care world!
