The big drugstore chain stocked them, but they were $13 each or $22 for two. Batteries Plus Bulbs had them that stock and they were only $16.99 for two. This saved me $25 and a few days of wait for the batteries to be shipped. As usual, the in-store customer service was SUPERB. My phone was going down fast and would not hold a charge and would get extremely hot and shut off. In an age where everything is app driven it made it very diffucult for me, a technically challenged person. I stopped by my service provider for a new phone and they use app to purchase, update, etc which again is difficult because my phone was not cooperating at all. The real issue became the transferring of data from old phone to new. They were not able to get the job done. I stopped in Batteries Plus and was greeted by all the guys. They immediately started looking at the phone discussing back and forth while I sat overwhelmed. Everything I need is on that old phone. Kendrick McVay said let me see that phone and went to work. He worked on that phone while being polite and comical but I could tell he knew what he was doing. He worked around passwords and phone constantly going down and FINALLY my data started to transfer! I cried in the car because they, he just took charge and did the job~ no charge! I thanked them profusely and offered to buy lunch or something, nope he took nothing. After they finally located it, they then told me that they had no battery for me. I asked what the point of the appointment was if it didn't mean they had the battery and they said, "well we had it yesterday but somebody 'transferred' it". What does that even mean? When I said they should have held the battery, the techs answer was, "Well, you never gave us any money for it.". Geez. So super frustrated, I logged onto Apple, made a same day apointment at the apple store and got my battery replaced by lunchtime. Cost me $20 more but worth it not to waste a trip and my time with these clowns. I will never use Batteries Plus again

Autozone tested it and said it was bad and needed replacement. I took the car to the store on Stage Rd, the Manager tested it and during the test, the test unit said "Unstable Battery". After completion of the test THIER test unit said "Replace Battery". The manager stated that they could not accept that result to replace the battery and I would need to leave the battery in the store and tested by a different unit and I'd have to leave the battery with her for 24-48 hrs. If you get a battery from any dealership or auto parts store and their test unit says the battery they will replace it on the spot. I had that experience previously with Autozone. How many people can leave a battery with a store and be without their only vehicle for that period of time? They never mentioned that fact when I bought the battery. It seems to me to just be a way to decrease the number of batteries they replace. Last time I do business with that company.

It's best to know exactly what you need before visiting the store, then just tell them what the part number is. They'll either have it in stock, or order the part for later delivery at the store.
