About 9 months later, my truck started having issues starting so I brought it in to the same Batteries Plus location to test the battery. They hooked their meter up and said the battery tested fine, even though I had to jumpstart my truck almost every day. This went on for about 3 months and went back a second time only to be told the same thing. I was so frustrated, I decided to purchase a new battery from Toy Automotive. (best Toyota shop in Denver!) I told their service rep what was going on and he suggested I take my truck back a 3rd time but this time , make sure the battery has drained that my truck won't start before they test it, otherwise the readings will show voltage which does not qualify for their replacement warranty. The third time I went to this Batteries Plus location, I sat in the parking lot for a few minutes until the battery discharged enough that the truck wouldn't start and it still took me some convincing to get the attendant to replace the battery. He stated X2 only replaces batteries if they completely fail. Funny thing is just over a month later the replacement battery works perfectly and I have not had a single issue starting my truck! I highly cautioned anyone about buying an X2 battery due to their horrible warranty exchange process.

A very large, commercial, pure lead plate battery that weighs 86lbs and has a cost of about $750 new. The well meaning employee at the auto parts store told me he could only pay the standard $10 for it, he felt it was worth much more. He referred me to Rocky Mountain Battery. Upon arrival at RMB I requested help unloading the battery from my vehicle. The cocky young man working at RMB yanked the battery out of my vehicle by one its handles and flung it (landing upside down) on to a pallet. He then handed me $7 with zero explanation as to how or why he derived at that amount. It obviously wasn't worth my time or gas to travel to RMB.

They charged me $185 to test the batteries, which took 6 hours. Then they told me I needed new ones (my car comes with an auxiliary battery) at a cost of over $650. I wanted to check out battery prices before I committed. Interstate Batteries on Willow quoted one half the price. When I got to their shop to buy my batteries, Chris tested them in a matter of 4 minutes. He discovered I didn't need new batteries, I just need to charge them fully every once in awhile. Completely ghosted us. Would NEVER bring my car here again…read more In August, AAA towed our new Toyota Corolla Cross to Stevinson after a pothole damaged the tire and wheel. I was assigned to Ryan Twal in the service department. Stevinson had our car for about 10 days, and after dropping it off, I was never able to speak with Ryan again. We called repeatedly--sometimes 10+ times a day--and no one in the service department would answer. When we returned from an out-of-state trip, we called around 16 times in ONE DAY trying to get an update. We eventually gave up and physically drove to the dealership. Even then, they couldn't answer our questions because Ryan wasn't working that day and it was 'his case.' Worst of all, we requested the complete inspection report from the beginning. We paid the $1,200 bill and got our car back, yet TWO MONTHS and numerous follow-up calls later, we still haven't received it. I even left negative feedback on their customer survey and no one followed up. The repair cost isn't the issue. Spending two months chasing a dealership for basic information about work you've already paid for is unacceptable. The complete lack of communication and follow-through is why I would strongly recommend having your vehicle serviced elsewhere.
