They could have easily told us we needed new a major repair and we wouldn't have known. Very honest and highly recommend this shop. Josh greeted me when I stopped on my way to work one morning after my check engine light came on. He was SUPER friendly, helpful, and had one of his mechanics come out to immediately put the scanner on it. He got me scheduled very quickly. He told me I could have a loaner car when I dropped my vehicle off, which was much appreciated since we live 25 miles out of town. They diagnosed the problem and had it repaired the following day. He checked with my vehicle warranty (which I could only use at the dealership out of town) - but we were so impressed with how helpful they were, so we paid the extra money to have Automotive Electric do the work. Automotive Electric has seemed to do a pretty good job as far as I can tell for repairs. I've had…read morethem replace the air conditioner clutch in our car and have had no issues with it. The one thing that stands out for me with them seems to be the guy who looked at my car about two summers ago. Our car's check engine light came on and began stuttering while we were in the Target parking lot. If you depressed the gas pedal it would run fine so it seemed to be an issue when the car was idling. We took it here and they gave us possibilities of what could be the issue and said they'd look at it. About 15 minutes later a man comes out holding one of the spark plug wires and let us know that one of the connections has some moisture in it. Stated he would clean up the wire for free and only charge for taking a look at it. This is the only automotive business that I have had a positive experience with since I moved up here in 2003. I hope that when I gave this employee warm praise to his supervisor he was commended for it as this seems to be a very rare trait to find in this town.. Edit: Spelling

Once I left and made it to the other side of town, I noticed I had a flat passenger side, rear tire. Called immediately and got a reply from their manager that I must have driven over a nail or something. I told him that would be coincidental and I made my way back to the store. Turns out they broke the valve stem somehow and I would need to purchase a new one but they don't carry them. The guy (non-manager) was polite and did fix it temporarily enough to get home but not what I was looking for when getting an oil change. Now I get to make an appointment and pay extra money to get it fixed at a certified tire store.
