Unfortunately, my experience with the customer service at the counter was very disappointing. The employee working at the register (I later learned her name was Velma) asked me what I needed while she was focused on an electronic device and did not make eye contact. I answered that I needed diesel, but her tone became noticeably irritated while asking for the required information to process the fuel purchase. After completing the transaction, she said, "Okay, you're out of here," which came across as disrespectful and unprofessional. Right after that, while I was walking toward the restroom, I overheard her talking about me with the next customer in line, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. I also noticed another interaction that I found unprofessional. While speaking with the same employee who helped me get her name, she repeatedly said loudly, "I really need to go home. I want to go home. I have to go home." I understand that employees can have difficult days and may feel tired, but saying this loudly in front of customers created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I went to get a cup of ice, but they were out of ice. I also tried to get the employee's name, but she did not have a badge displaying her name. I asked her for a receipt so I could get her name from the receipt, but at the bottom of the receipt, the system displayed information that appeared to be an error. The receipt I was given was also not the correct one for my transaction. I then asked another employee for her name so I could write this review. I normally expect a professional and respectful interaction at a major travel center like Pilot. I hope management can address this situation and remind employees about the importance of customer service, communication, and professionalism.

We made it the trip straight there stayed just long enough for the funeral did an overnight and came back. We needed to be back in time for Jason my significant other to get to work. The trip had been unplanned and was highly stressful because traveling with my son is just that stressful he is on oxygen and has a variety of special needs . We chose to take an RV because we wanted to maximize his comfort along with everyone else's. We had a battery powered oxygen concentrator with us that while the generator on the RV was running would charge and would in addition have about 2 hours of battery once it was unplugged. So when the alternator went out on the RV and we were stranded on the side of I-90 I wasn't overly stressed at first we had plenty of gas in the generator and I knew the battery had at least 2 hours in addition to the time we had with fuel in the generator I did let Insurance know when I contacted roadside that we were on a time limit however. after being bounced around for five and a half hours I can't say I was anything less than irritated when I finally was put in touch with Zeeman's. I explained that we still had at least 4 hours of battery left on the concentrator between the fuel and the generator and the battery but but honestly we needed to figure something out and waiting till morning was not an option because one I-90 was not exactly the safest place to be sitting on the side of the road and two we would run out of fuel and thus battery before morning. I got told to get a personal toe then rather than something through my insurance when I explained that I didn't have the 1500 to 2000 being quoted to me to do that I got told that ""If i didn't have the funds to keep myself safe I shouldn't be out on the god damn road to begin with" ... along with a couple other quite rude comments about how I should just call 911 for emergency services if it was such an emergency ... Emergency Services would have just told me to get a tow which is what I was trying to do ... I did not appreciate being sworn at and I did not appreciate the attitude .... and before Miss Rose comes back and says she didn't do any of this I have the entire thing on recording....

1 STAR -- Extremely disappointed with the customer service at Batteries Plus in Stevens Point…read more I am extremely upset and disappointed with the way I was treated at this location today. Yesterday, I went to Batteries Plus to have a replacement car key and key fob made. Unfortunately, the store had no power, so the employee asked me to come back later. Instead, I called the store before making another trip. The employee I spoke with yesterday was very helpful. He confirmed that the power was back on, that they had the part I needed, and that although they were a little busy because they had been without power for so long, he could still take care of my key and fob. He gave me an approximate price of $175. I specifically asked if I needed an appointment, and he told me NO. I then asked if I could come back the following day, and he said that would be fine. So I came back today based on the information YOUR EMPLOYEE gave me. Unfortunately, I dealt with a different employee today, and the experience was completely different. When I explained what I needed, his response was, "You know they are so expensive." I told him yes, I knew the price because the employee I spoke with yesterday had already given it to me. He then told me that they do these services without an appointment. I explained that the employee yesterday specifically told me I did not need an appointment. His response? "That's a lie." I was absolutely shocked. I am the customer. I called ahead. I asked questions. I confirmed the price. I asked whether I needed an appointment. I followed the instructions I was given by YOUR employee. If there was a misunderstanding between employees, that is an internal problem that should be handled between employees. I should not have been made to feel like I was lying, stupid, or somehow responsible for their lack of communication. And it wasn't just what he said--it was his entire attitude and the way he spoke to me. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected standing there. At that point, I took my keys and left. I told him he was being rude because, honestly, he was. I completely understand that employees can have stressful days. I understand that stores can be busy. I understand that miscommunication can happen. What I DON'T understand is why a customer who did exactly what she was told should be treated with such disrespect. Your own store advertises key cutting, key fob replacement, and programming services, so I expected a professional customer-service experience. (Batteries Plus) Instead, I walked out feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and extremely disappointed. The way you treat customers matters. A simple, respectful explanation would have been enough. There was absolutely no reason for the attitude or for telling me that what another employee told me was "a lie." I will be taking my business elsewhere. $175 is not an insignificant amount of money, and I am certainly not going to spend it somewhere that makes me feel disrespected before I even receive the service. I hope management sees this review and takes it seriously, because this was not simply a misunderstanding about an appointment. It was a customer-service failure and an unnecessary lack of respect.
