I needed a new battery for my 1986 golf cart so off to Bulldog Battery I went. They had the exact battery I needed so I paid and they helped me get it to the car. I went home and installed it but still couldn't get my golf cart going. I'm 75 and not a mechanic, so when I called Richard in the morning he said he would send his best battery guy (Paul) to my house to make sure that everything was plugged in correctly and get my golf cart running. First of all, who does that?! Paul came out to my house reworked the hookup, replaced wire caps and got a perfect charge for my battery. I was off playing with my golf cart immediately. I've had nothing but great experiences everything from super heavy duty motorhome and truck batteries to tiny little flashlight, batteries, computer batteries everything was done. *WARNING* Do not do business with this company! I contacted them in November via email to enquire about cell replacements in a battery I had thats very hard to replace. I sent photos of the inside of the battery & told them the type of cells within. Richard quickly responded & told me not only could they replace the cells but that they would upgrade them with better cells for an even longer battery life. I was quoted $80 which was a great price considering the battery is almost impossible to find & close to $300. Within a week I shipped the battery off & provided Richard a copy of the tracking number via email to which I received a response that he would let me know when the battery arrived. Fast forward a month and not one message from these people. I am a senior admin at an IT firm & typically do not press people as I know busy business can be. When I realized it had been a month I sent an email to follow up with Richard to which I received a response: "We put new cells in it but it didn't work, do you have another?" I was shocked that no one had contacted me & confused as to why "it didn't work" since this battery was still holding a charge barely & the cells had simply aged out. The indicator light on the outside of the battery was still working as well. I emailed back & requested that the battery be sent back to me since its a very expensive battery to which I received a response "The board in it was no good & its been recycled. We emailed you & notified you." Two lies, the board was fine & it was extensively photo'd before it was mailed. I also never received any notification nor provided my consent for my property to be "recycled". In reality these people damaged the board in my battery, did not bother to tell me & then made up some lies. They did not want to send it back because they knew it would be clear what they did. I let them know I either needed my property, a replacement, or the value of a replacement which is nearly $300. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau & will be meeting with my attorney right after Christmas. The right thing to do would have been to own up to what they did & make this right, they chose to do bad business & I will make it my personal mission to ensure they are held accountable. Update: Lowered my rating from 2 stars to 1 star. When the owner rudely hung up on me after he said he would contact me again in a month about my order, I waited now three months, and STILL no update on my order. It's like they forgot who their customer is. If you need to get your custom battery built, look elsewhere. The owner of this company doesn't care about its customers. read more

This is a AWESOME place for all your battery needs. I was in agsin today to get batteries for 4 of my patio lights and had two lights to see if the batteries could be replaced in those also. Eric waited on me again and took his time and replaced the batteries in my 4 lights and checked the other two. This place really knows what customer service really means. The previous day the man on the phone told me they would hold the battery I needed and they did. It took them less than 15 minutes to get me in and out of there. Amazing price. Great timing. Got my iphone 7 repaired their. They advertise it as a service. At no time, until after, did he disclose by repairing it would break my home button. If they had, I would have gone with apple. Now I have a home button that doesn't work right, and no fingerprint id. This is a side biz so I don't think they have enough knowledge about the phones and are winging it. I went in to fix my shattered iPhone screen. They told me it would be $100.. Apple quoted me $170. I went with bulldog battery. They told me my phone would be ready in 4 hours. When I came to pick it up the screen looked like it wasn't property glued to the rest of the phone. I said something to the worker and he said he could add more glue if I wanted but assured me it was fine. I said it's ok then I'll leave it . As soon as i got into my car i noticed my screen was extremely slow why clicking on things. Later on I noticed when I text I would have to text really slow because the Screed was not processing quickly enough. Two days later my entire Screen was frozen and I could not get into my phone. I would get incoming calls but could not answer my phone. The next day I went back and told them what was going on. The guy working asked if I had called and made an appointment. I said no I just dropped by and he seemed very annoyed. He said he would try to get it done and have me come back in four hours. I came back in four hours and my phone was fixed. This time I noticed that the screen was not sticking out at all like the first time. It has been a couple months now and my screen is working fine but when I go to a black screen i can see that the screen was not properly placed. Was sold a "new" battery for $95. I was told I had a three year warranty; 5 year limited warranty, because of buying new. I paid for the battery and was given only my credit card receipt. I asked about a warranty form and he said the sticker on my battery and information in the computer was all I needed. After about three months, it started dying frequently. About six times in the span of 2 1/2 months. I took it to my mechanic and he said it was all juiced out. I also took it through valvoline, for a second opinion, same response. So I went to bulldog battery to fix the problem. I told my situation to the guy at the desk, he had me take my car into the garage. The guy in the garage said it was a used battery. They offered to sell me a new battery. No warranty, because the battery was used. Really crappy even for used. So instead of saving me 30 bucks, bulldog battery cost me $95, and a headache. I give zero stars 0! read more
