Called Roadrunner and the tech was there in about half an hour and fixed the slide in about ten minutes. He had us follow him to a free, hard-to-find campground just out of town called Yellow Circle which was big enough for our rig and we had a great night drinking beer and chatting with some other folks out there. There was no justification or even explanation for why Nick ghosted us after promising multiple times to show up to further work on the fridge. He did, however, clearly communicate that he could not be bothered with the fact that Nick's actions delayed our departure by 3 hours, which caused us to get caught in a terrible windstorm. Had Nick been honest that he had no intention of showing up, we could have been safely set up at our new location rather than hunkered down at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Nick nor Dennis exhibits any empathy or understanding that their actions impact others.
