I stopped by Point S bc a guy from an auto store recommended I get my tire checked if the tire pressure seemed low, possibly due to a slow leak, and due to the weekend coming up, I should go there today (Friday). These guys were able to get me in within a few minutes and it was determined that I had a puncture. They were able to get it repaired within 15minutes or so. I was on a road trip from another state and it had snowed, so it was a relief. They were very nice and would definitely recommend them. read more

Great services. Our car battery light was on during our drive from Capitol Reef to Moab. It kept on and off. We drove the car to Point S to check and thought we might need a battery replacement. They checked the battery for us and it wasn't the battery problem. Alternator seems working within range so we don't know exactly what happened. They suggested us to bring the car in next time when the battery light is on again. No charge for us. Appreciate their professional service and detailed explanation. read more

I asked how long it would take to get an oil change on my F150. I was told 30 minutes. Three people who came in after me left long before my truck was done. It took 117 minutes. The price was double what I am used to paying. When I complained I was told I should get my oil changed before I go on vacation. I took that to mean if you are from out of town they double the price. The person ahead of me paid less than half the price I did. Don't go to Moab and expect to be treated fairly. read more

Fixed our tire the same day but wouldn't mount it. Kinda bullshit. They didn't tell us they would not be able to Mount it or offer to schedule the mounting beforehand. They say it's a manning issue however it feels more like a scheduling issue. Would not recommend. read more

DANGER!!! When I say Point S almost killed my wife and baby you may think I'm exaggerating but let me explain. I had Point S rotate and balance my tires. Everything seemed fine until my wife was getting ready to return from seeing her family and her dad noticed one lug nut was missing on a front tire. Upon further inspection all of the lug nuts were loose on that tire and all the other tires had loose lug nuts. This happens when install produces are ignored and lug nuts aren't tightened correctly. If they aren't tightened correctly, over time vibrations will loosen the lug nuts until they fall off and eventually the tire falls off too. At speed or on a turn this will likely crash and kill you. My wife was getting ready to drive a windy canyon highway. Nobody would have known why my wife ran off the road and kill herself and our baby. read more

Passing through to see the parks and needed an oil change. Came in for a quick change and come to find out my vehicle didnt have a proper alignment. The tires on the inside were worn. I'm so greatful the mechanics noticed and brought that to my attention. I still had to get back to California!! And we had other parks to stop at on our vacation. These guys all saved our trip. They got my new tires! And an alignment done by noon!! They went over everything with me. On our way across beautiful Moab from the blizzard-bombed Colorado mountains, my tire went flat. After a minor mental breakdown (yay vacation!), we found Point S was the closest place with tires and stopped in. Though they were busy, I was helped right away. Colby asked me if the tire might be salvageable, and when I told him I didn't know, he came out and looked at it. Although Meineke had checked my tires not even a month ago, he immediately saw something wrong with it, showed me what it was, and explained why it was messed up. This was incredibly refreshing--most men treat women at auto shops condescendingly, but I could tell that Colby actually cared. He gave me a variety of tires to chose from and took my driving habits into consideration (long distance and occasional off-roader). He gave me an amazing deal (seriously, these guys are so competitive, you will NOT find a better deal on anything you need done. I checked online) and when he found out my brakes were ground to dust, he replaced those too, again for an amazing price. He even took off extras that were standard for the work I got done but didn't apply to me since I was going back to Indiana (no Point S's there). In my flurry of panic and activity, I don't remember what his name was, but I'd like to thank the really kind man who took the effort to look at my car twenty minutes before closing and gave me a really honest and helpful opinion. This incident happened in May 2018. I drive a Toyota Corolla. I was in the fourth day of an eight-day road trip in Utah and Arizona (from California). On , on my way to Arches NP, my "check engine" light came on, as well as my "traction off indicator"...and then my car started lurching occasionally when I accelerated. I was a bit concerned (my car only has about 30k miles on it) so I rushed to have someone check it out since I am so far from home and still have a ways to go. The nice man at the counter came out to look at my car even though they were about to close, and he ran codes to identify the problem. He was upfront and honest that there was nothing he could do nor was there any shop that he would recommend for my car (Toyota is not a common car out in Utah), but that if I didn't notice any other operational issues, my car should be fine to drive until I could make it to a Toyota dealership. He recommended the dealership because my car was so new that any of the issues that could cause the code would be under warranty. While nothing was actually done, he gave me and my friends some peace of mind to finish our trip, and we made it back to California without any issues. First full day in Moab and our power steering goes out and we snap the serpentine belt literally at the Arches National Park, in the Visitor Center. Didn't even get up to see anything, but incredibly grateful that it didn't happen during the snowstorm on 191 the night before. Once we got towed into Point S, the guys took a look under the hood, knew exactly what was up, parts had to be ordered which came in the next day and they had us rolling out and back on the road in 36 hrs. Had the best experience with this shop!! We were traveling from Bryce Canyon to Moab when I heard a rock / object go under the car (I think a truck kicked it up) and then about ten minutes later the "low tire pressure" light went on. We were able to limp to a service exit and I could feel that my back tire was low on air. We filled it back up and were able to make it to this shop in Moab. As it was a rental car, these folks could have took us to the cleaners and told us that we needed new tires, etc. Instead, they were HONEST and GREAT to work with. They looked at the tire, found it to be a "rock punture" and patched it for $25. They were just great to work with. I have never had such service in any tire shop and felt very fortunate to come across this place. I HIGHLY recommend them! A+ for service and professionalism! read more

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I would definitely recommend them because they have excellent customer service. Our Jeep broke down before the Canyonlands entrance and we had called around trying to find a place to tow it. (We don't live here) We got many answers from others such as "we are backed up and won't be able to look at it for another 2 weeks" or "well what can I do about it" seriously? We called this place and Colby said right away, tow it here and we can look at it. That's all we wanted was someone to look at it so we would know what our next step would be. Someone to diagnose the problem. We didn't need it to sit there for 2 weeks just for someone to "look at it" and tell us what the problem was. I know everyone is backed up but we needed to find out what our next step would be. The front desk even took time to call around for an Uber or Lyft or any taxi service to get us to our place so we can get our RV to tow our Jeep home. We had 400 miles to go to get home for work on Monday and knew we couldn't make it on the little mini-spare that came with the car. We got a flat on our rental van. Called Enterprise and they told us we were SOL! AAA told us to go to this place. Bad news.. driving on the flat caused it so the tire couldn't be fixed! Suck... I'm thinking a new tire in a small tourist town on a very busy holiday weekend is going to be hundreds!!! Nope, they got us a used one, still with lots of tread, out the door, change and all for $50. Corina and the crew at Point S are solid! I had some fairly simple work that needed to get done on my Class A Motorhome. Now, be forewarned, they can't do everything for these kinds of RV's and you have very limited options for motorhome service in Moab. So your mileage may vary and they may not be able to assist. But I just needed to change out fuel filters when my check engine light went out and I didn't have the tools I needed to get it done myself. I worked with Corina to understand what they could and couldn't do. I sourced my own parts and I diagnosed my own issue. Corina also went above and beyond to ensure they could do the work by sending pics back and forth (I have a side mounted radiator on a diesel pusher and the work was on parts directly exposed when you open the engine compartment). We got on the same page about what needed to be done and got it scheduled. When I came in, the crew was friendly and communicative. Super helpful and they got everything done in a quick and reasonable amount of time. I wish every repair shop interaction was like this. A++ read more

Took my car in a little after 8:30 for an oil change. Reception was delayed and cold. Was told it would be an hour and a half. The woman next to me, came in after for the same thing was 45 minutes. I called close 11am to check the status. They hadn't even pulled it into the shop yet, but I was assured it would be brought into the service bay in the next few minutes and done within 30 minutes. Gave them almost a full hour. When we got there it was clear my car hadn't moved. A tech saw us coming and said our car was going in next. We told him it was too late. We wanted the car back, done or not. We will not be back. I understand being busy and short staffed. It would have been better if they said it would be a few hours in the first place. read more
