In my mind, it was the perfect fit for a Type A parent like myself. I first met Ms. Andrea, who was simply delightful and soft-spoken. I shared my expectations as a parent, and she truly listened. I told her that as long as my child was treated with respect, communication remained open--even for the slightest concern--and transparency was maintained, she wouldn't hear a peep from me. Ms. Andrea and Ms. Yahira have exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only do they treat my child with respect, but they genuinely love her and have taught her so much in such a short time. Shortly…read moreafter his 3rd birthday I discovered that the daycare had made well over $7,000 in unauthorized charges to my credit card that the daycare had on file. The daycare admitted the charges were unauthorized. However, when I asked the owner to refund the money they initially told me that they did not have the funds available to refund me for the unauthorized charges and they asked if I would accept credits for future services until the amounts were repaid. I rejected that offer & requested immediate reimbursement. After several weeks of calls & emails seeking reimbursement, the daycare finally reimbursed me for over $7k of the unauthorized charges. I (like most parents) want to make sure that my children are at a daycare I know I can trust and where my kids are safe. After this incident I personally no longer felt like I could trust Turtle Tots so I chose to withdraw my children. I will note that we loved my son's teacher - Ms. Jeanette. She was great and our son adored her but given the circumstances we felt that we had no choice to pull our children from turtle tots. I do not think the teachers had anything to do with the unauthorized charges but again, given the circumstances I did not feel comfortable leaving my children there.

Screens and videos are used everyday with children of all ages, including infants. The facility does not have cameras, making it hard to know what's happening throughout the day. Since transferring my kids to a different daycare, their entire demeanors have changed. My heart aches seeing how much my children are thriving in a healthy environment now. I only wish I had realized sooner how harmful Castle Brook really was.

The place looks clean and organized, there's no funky smell like other daycares. The teachers look experienced and hands-on with the children. I like how small but well designed the classrooms are. If it wasn't for the building on the side is currently being built which is next to their playground, I would considered having my child here.

She runs a tight ship but does so with soft gloves and a tremendous sense of fun. Really the best option in St Augustine.
