(Note: This is not a review for boaters) Stunning stretch of road that offers views of character homes, and ends at a sweeping marina. Go to the gift shop that has a neat variety of goods and purchase fish from the freezer. Go out and feed the seals. Some will slap the water for your attention, but make sure to get the shy guys who stay at the back. Video your companion as a seagull swoops and steals a piece of fish. A must-visit in Victoria! Washrooms located by gift shop. Full service restaurant also on site.

    Hello. Id like some herring

A marina! Boats! Cafe with decent coffee and treats....however, there is a little known delight at this location that not many know about. Harbour seals! The marina gift shop sells bags of frozen herring for $3, after purchasing you can go feed the group of 7-8 seals that live amongst the docks. What a blast.

We stopped here on a bus tour and enjoyed it. First, went down to the rocky beach and sat along the upper path to listen to someone play the piano while overlooking the marina and feeling the wonderful breeze. Then we went down to the area where the harbor seals are waiting for tourists to feed them and saw two cute harbor seals. After that ate in the cafe and enjoyed the food-salmon chowder-ok but nothing special. One of us had the sandwich and enjoyed it. The hummus with Naan bread was good and the iced tea was refreshing and tasted good. The seating for the cafe is either outside or inside-both pleasant. There's a nice little gift shop there as well.

It's a functioning marina so it's not the cleanest of areas (there was trash floating in the waters), but it allows up close glimpses of sailboats, cabin cruisers and other boats. We walked the docks for a while, then headed to the area where the harbour seals were. The seals are obviously the hilight of a visit to the area. On the day we visited, the were 5 or 6 seals waiting for food. A local man cleans fish caught in the area and he throws the unedible portions into the ocean...hence why the seals stick around. We read you could buy fish to feed the seals for $3...but didnt see that. The park next to the marina (it circles the parking lot) has good views of the ocean...plus there's one of the functioning pianos on the path (the pianos are part of an art exhibit that scatters functioning pianos at different locations in Vancouver/Victoria where people can play music in nature). Never visited the restaurant. The marina gift shop was reasonably priced for those types of stores.

Wow. This outfit is legit. When we first decided to come visit Victoria, the first thing I started…read moreresearching was a fishing charter. Adam's Fishing Charters scores a perfect 5 from over 50 reviews on trip advisor. Adam helped to put me with another individual fisher to help split the cost and set us up for a morning trip. Temple was our guide, he was incredible. Very knowledgeable, and extremely personable. Even though it was a slow day and the fish weren't biting, Temple was persistent and we ended up landing a big one! I will definitely be using them again and would recommend them to everyone!

These guys get it…read more Great contact and information prior advising you of conditions. Adam was really helpful in helping make our arrangements. Justin our guide was experienced, friendly and helped make this a highlight for my two kids. We had such a great fishing experience so we booked again for the next day. Adam however called to advise us that winds were up so we weren't able to go out again. Highly recommended fishing charter righ in the inner harbor of Victoria. Would have given them a higher rating but the fish processing store they recommended didn't seem to know what they were doing and tried to short us four fillets. They eventually said I had the full amount when I came to pay but when I opened the sealed container after flying home, we were shorted 2 fillets. I do not recommend the fish processing on the Fisherman's wharf.
