Moorage, gift ship, fuel, ship repair and free vehicle parking are all available here. You can pay for moorage by the month or the year. Convenient for short-term stays. 15 and 30 amp power. Entered into a year lease with fixed terms marina failed to uphold the agreed upon terms and when confronted i was harassed and told I was crazy by a staff member. Within 24 hours they have threatened to seize my vessel over heresy from a third party i was given no time to deal with it and they have made zero effort to be professional about it. . Its important to recognize that 90% of the 5star reviews are about the old marina eatery or the adjacent beach. I find all 3 star and below are actually talking about the marina. And more then half the ratings are off topic or made by staff and are from past ownership anything less then year is irrelevant Don't trust your assets here .the dock is falling apart current is swirling and all logs that come around the corner of the straight and hit your boats all day i have had to personally check for logs because the marina staff wont move them themselves the current there is strong and there is multiple issues with other boats and flyby electricity the slamming occurs almost year round excluding 4 months of the year you will be harassed by staff at late hours of the night and there is a million Karen's that walk here regularly. Not the mention the seals that live in this harbor that like to sleep on boats and capsized dingies. There is also a high chance someones derelict boat will crash into you many dock lines are savagely left for decades marina will also not intervene. Not to mention the construction thats planned for the marina which will likely make theft and damage more likely. If you are a serious boater avoid this place like the plague. read more

Go to the gift shop that has a neat variety of goods and purchase fish from the freezer. Go out and feed the seals. Some will slap the water for your attention, but make sure to get the shy guys who stay at the back. Video your companion as a seagull swoops and steals a piece of fish. A must-visit in Victoria! A marina! Boats! Cafe with decent coffee and treats....however, there is a little known delight at this location that not many know about. Harbour seals! The marina gift shop sells bags of frozen herring for $3, after purchasing you can go feed the group of 7-8 seals that live amongst the docks. What a blast. read more

We stopped here on a bus tour and enjoyed it. First, went down to the rocky beach and sat along the upper path to listen to someone play the piano while overlooking the marina and feeling the wonderful breeze. Then we went down to the area where the harbor seals are waiting for tourists to feed them and saw two cute harbor seals. After that ate in the cafe and enjoyed the food-salmon chowder-ok but nothing special. One of us had the sandwich and enjoyed it. The hummus with Naan bread was good and the iced tea was refreshing and tasted good. The seating for the cafe is either outside or inside-both pleasant. There's a nice little gift shop there as well. read more

It's a functioning marina so it's not the cleanest of areas (there was trash floating in the waters), but it allows up close glimpses of sailboats, cabin cruisers and other boats. We walked the docks for a while, then headed to the area where the harbour seals were. The seals are obviously the hilight of a visit to the area. On the day we visited, the were 5 or 6 seals waiting for food. A local man cleans fish caught in the area and he throws the unedible portions into the ocean...hence why the seals stick around. We read you could buy fish to feed the seals for $3...but didnt see that. The park next to the marina (it circles the parking lot) has good views of the ocean...plus there's one of the functioning pianos on the path (the pianos are part of an art exhibit that scatters functioning pianos at different locations in Vancouver/Victoria where people can play music in nature). Never visited the restaurant. The marina gift shop was reasonably priced for those types of stores. read more

Fun tine feeding the seals in the bay, up buy some frozen herring in the gift shop and troop put to the dock. Seals (and at least two otters) hang out and do tricks to get you to toss food in their direction. Whole family enjoyed it, great picture opportunities in his experience. read more

This place is beautiful but filthy. The bathrooms has overflowing toilets for two days and were not cleaned once during that time. It was a mess! The showers are located in the bathrooms so were not accessable unless you were willing to walk through sewage. Indifferent staff, except at the gas dock. They were nice. read more

Feeding the seals here was the highlight of my trip to Victoria. Be careful of the seaguls; they will snatch the fish right out of yr hand and you will have nothing left for the seals. read more

On a sunny day, with Mt Baker's majesty right there, full view, & the marina boats languidly awaiting their skippers to set sail, there is nothing nicer than lunch or dinner at the Oak Bay Marina Restaurant. I've always had good food here...usually great service. Be forewarned, though, that they automatically set the tip, for large parties (8 or more, I believe)...caused a bit of a stir at a family reunion. I like their curved booths, where you sit a little higher than the tables, and the view is straight out...a good choice for that celebration moment, even if you're on your own, and the celebrators are in your memory. read more

I rarely write reviews but I feel compelled to write about my horrible experience at your coffee house on Saturday. The service was incredibly slow, people lined up for a long time to place and get simple orders. There seemed to be a number of people behind the counter but not many were working to help customers. The coffee bar had run out of white wine!! It is boxed wine, Saturday afternoon in the summer. Would it go bad if you had a few more available boxes??? I therefore ordered beer. The server proceeded to take out the chilled glasses ( nice feature), and not only did she touch the rims of the glass, she proceeded to stick her fingers inside the glass!!!! She was working the register and handling cash and who knows what else. And please tell me why you can not pick up a glass without putting your fingers inside it , before you fill it with beer for a customer. I was not the only person disgusted with the service and experience at the coffee bar. Other customers in line were commenting as well. For a venue in a high rent neighbourhood my expectations were a lot higher. I certainly will never return, nor recommend your establishment. Please train your employees, I served customers for many years in a restaurant when I was a lot younger than the ones working Saturday, and had more common sense and understanding of hygiene! Went for dinner and sat at the bar as they used to have a great bar menu as well as the regular and sushi menus. Not any more!!! Ordered veggie tempura - just okay sauce boring. Ordered the romaine and shrimp salad for my main. So bland and boring not even one good taste. A funny orange "dust" on top couldn't figure out what that was - no flavour at all!! New Years Brunch 2016. Poor. I was invited last year to partake in a yearly event with new friends. The food was lovely as was the service. We accepted the yearly invitation again this year and will probably not return. The food was fine. The server was lovely. The floor manager was a total TURD. My friend wrote this with no response. this is what she wrote: Hello, I wanted to provide some feedback about a recent experience we had at your restaurant. I had booked a reservation for 18 people for your New Year's Day Brunch. The feedback I want to provide is around the reminder call and billing experience. I found the reminder call quite rude and tactless. I was asked by the gentleman who called to request that my party show up early so there was adequate time to prepare for the next reservation. He stated that if we could not come in early that our seating time would be cut short to accommodate the next group. To ask a large party to shorten their reservation to accommodate another party, in addition to requesting that I contact that many people on short notice sends a message that we are not valued customers. As someone who has worked in the industry, I can respect the request, however it would have been appreciated to be notified earlier rather than the day before to contact that many people. I would also think that a restaurant of your calibre would book your reservations accordingly. I booked months in advance and frequent your establishment often therefore that phone call was quite insulting. To add insult to injury, when we were leaving your establishment, the server, who was very lovely accidentally billed our party the wrong price. The billing was not the issue but rather the way your manager handled the situation. Someone from our party, who happens to be a successful local restaurant owner, questioned his decision as to why he would go out of his way to re tract each bill from our party while others had paid the lower price, stating it was not worth the good will. The manager responded quite rudely leaving a bad taste in our mouths, after a delicious brunch and wonderful service from your staff that morning. We have never had a bad experience with customer service at the Marina before therefore I hesitated on providing feedback. Nevertheless the people we invited to brunch were so disappointed about the experience that i felt i had no other choice. read more
