    A tail wave .. haha

Me and my girlfriends went on a whale watching tour and we were so impressed by the way our captain Andrew handled the boat, such a smooth ride ! And we saw not only Orcas and Humpbacks but so much other wildlife. Having Zoë who is a marine biologist and the owner of the company now on board was a bonus as we got to learn so much about the area and animals ! Also we loved catching the tour from inside the Gulf Islands. We have gone from Vancovuer before and leaving from Salt Spring cut down travelling time on the open ocean for over a hour each way just to get to the whales. We took off through the beautiful gulf islands in calm waters and it was amazing how much nicer it was than leaving from Vancouver. We actually had 4 hours of observation not 2 hours of open ocean travel time. I would highly recommend getting into the gulf islands and leaving from there for your exploring. You can ferry or fly in. The staff made us feel very safe and were so experienced and gave such good service !! We are planning to go back and do the all day kayaking trip. Great company to go with if you want to explore the beautiful and wild Gulf Islands in a small group and safe Experince!

Great kayak around goat island. Guide Michaela was wonderful, knowledgeable, accommodating and safe. Wish we were staying longer and we would do another tour with her.

    Some parking lot practice :)

Rented a double scooter. The bike was prepped and ready for our arrival and service was polite and thorough. We booked for 24 hrs orginally and had a situation come up where we had to return early and to our surprise were given a discount back as we didn't rent the scooter for the full amount of time. Would rent from here again and again!

My mind is still reeling from all that we saw. We followed a gathering of 19 orcas for more than an hour. Exceeded every bucket list dream I ever had, for seeing these animals! Simon is very, very knowledgeable; he also collects data for Canada Fisheries, so he knew the pods and individuals we were watching. And that wasn't all. We were guided to view a Humpback whale, 2 kinds of sea lion, seals, bald eagles, and even an island which had been stocked as an exotic game preserve, and still has wild animals from other parts of the world roaming around it. There were only 9 people, plus the skipper, so everybody had a great view of everything. And the boats are really fast, so they can go quite a distance in the search for those ever-moving orcas. An experience of a lifetime...even if (like me) you've taken many other whale-watching excursions.

You will not regret this amazing experience. Great for kids too. These boats are fast, you will see so much and cover incredible distances. Don't worry there is a WC on board for emergencies! Sign your paperwork, get your sunscreen on, and suit up in your warm floatation suit/life vest. Keep your phone handy as you will see all sorts of wildlife along the way, seals, eagles, eagle nests, then the killer whales. It's amazing how you can check the binder and identify each pod by name with their offspring. On our way back as we returned to dock we even had a bonus viewing of some whales right in Cowichan bay.

The location is on the dock on front street above an ice cream place. The staff is super friendly and appreciated my early arrival. We got a short talk about safety and what to expect. Then we donned suits to keep us warm and dry. Tip: use the hat they offer and gloves. The hood doesn't keep the wind from making your ears cold without holding it tight around your face. I ran to the dock and met Captain BJ who would be working with Allison our guide. The was helpful and allowed me to sit up front. I was more excited than a kid on Christmas morning. The boat starts and we leave the harbor. Then we started going really fast which was so awesome! We saw a sea otter playing in the tide current. There were harbor porpoises. But the steller sea lions were enormous and stunning. They were subbing themselves on the rocks. The piece de resistance was the orcas! A pod of orcas was hunting a lone steller sea lion. We must have sat there over an hour. Other boats gathered and we all watched. I'm not shy in admitting I was deeply moved. I cried a bit at how awesome this experience was and seeing beautiful orcas was on my bucket list. My favorite part was that this is a small business. They are locally owned and have a focus on conservation. The boat pulls water from the ocean to propel itself forward which means no gas, propeller or noisy engine that stresses out whales. We stopped to remove a mylar balloon from the water. I love when people practice what they preach! We continued and saw more eagles, rhiocerous ocelot, and more harbor porpoises. By the end my heart was full. Captain BJ said this was his second favorite trip of the year this far. I beamed all the way back to the office to return our gear. Tip: go to the whale museum when it opens at 11am then come here to see real whales. Do this whale watching tour! Best bang for your buck you will ever get!!

We can't thank Western Prince Whale Watching enough for this experience that we will look back on and treasure!

We saw 8 whales, 2 humpbacks and a family of 6 orcas. The orcas were killing a seal! The humpbacks were a mother and baby. Alex told us all about the whales and a bunch of additional wildlife that we saw. They do a great job of communicating with other boats to notify where whales are or have been seen. At the end they provide a map of where you went, names, birth years, of the whales along with Alex's professional grade photos airdropped to our phone right then and there. They both really care about the area and even stopped to pick up litter. The boat gets bumpy when its windy but we just laughed and enjoyed it. We will most likely do their tour again one day when we come back. Hands down one of my best memories in life.

We met our tour guide, Ali at the designated time (11am) at the designated place, and 20 or so of us enjoyed an incredibly interesting walking tour of Chinatown. There is no way we would have gotten the feel for this city had we not taken this tour. Several folks were repeat tour guy visitors, so they must have enjoyed those as well. Our group had folks from several countries. It is a relaxed tour at a pace that is just right...not too fast and not too slow. Seriously, just right! And absolutely everyone in our group was happy to hand over generous thank you tips. Well-deserved. Ali was kind enough at the end of the tour to guide anyone who wanted dining suggestions or directions. For us, he was even kind enough to let us walk along with him since we were heading in the same direction. As a result, we were fortunate enough to get an extended tour, as he remained a wealth of Vancouver info as we went along. Highly recommend!
