I was very, very impressed with this office. I have not seen an allergist since I was 4? yrs old. Dr. Ozog took impeccable notes in trying to diagnose my issues with eczema. Which my Dermatologist needs to know the underlying issues before she can properly treat my eczema. I don't know if this is normal but her thoroughness was amazing! I go back in 2 weeks for the second half of the scratch testing. Hopefully she can find something. The first scratch tests (all 36 major allergens) all came back negative. Something is causing this eczema. It completely went away after taking the doxycycline that I took for 10 days. But now it's coming back. I'm allergic to something?? Dr. Ozog will come up with something eventually it may just take a bit to figure out.

Not only did Dr. Ozog and her staff exceed my expectations from treatment to customer care but for the first time in YEARS I feel like I'm in control of my allergies and its dreadful season! Initially I went in because of a rash (yes I know skin- I should of went to dermatologist, I have. No relief) dr. Ozog gave me a cream to try for a week and scheduled to have me come back to reevaluate along with test for any allergies. The rash was gone a few days later I had no itching or irritation and it has yet to even resurface! Mind you this has been a pain since a kid every season and finally it's been handled! Then they tested for allergies- being middle eastern my parents normal diagnoses of you are fine take Advil has been my go to. But Dr Ozog reassured me it's not in my head and it's manageable. She gave me some sample over the counter medications to help with my symptoms and educated me on a long term solutions of shots. Since I work late I had to get a super evening appointment and she even double upped my work so I wouldn't have to keep returning. Her clinical staff was so warm and inviting and didn't make me feel like I was burdening them staying past I'm sure the time of them being able to go home! In 2003, I was laid up for 2 weeks at home with bronchitis. When I saw a new internist in 2008, he recommended that I see Dr. Jacobson, because of the numerous sinus infections I was continuing to experience. Since I saw Dr. Jacobson he had provided me with the right treatments that let me live a life without concern of asthma and allergies for over 15 years. It has been life changing for me. Then he asks you questions about your malady, investigates different treatment options, and even takes the time to educate you on your condition. He's also a model of patience and persistence. I was a little lazy about using the peak flow test at first, but Dr. Handoyo didn't get annoyed. He just explained the importance of getting a good baseline record of my lung capacity and how it would help him to provide the best treatment, so I made a commitment to be a better patient. With the pandemic and his specialty, I know he is at a greater risk than other doctors, so I especially appreciate his professionalism and efforts to ensure the health and safety of his patients.
