They've been at it a long time and now they're very good at imparting to others ways to breathe, stand and move that somehow engender energy, integration, and healing of body, mind and heart. I got to know them in 2015 after friends convinced me to take part in the Qigong class offered at the Crow Collection of Asian Art in the wellness program. I knew nothing about Qigong, my expectations were modest. The first class was profoundly refreshing - almost revelatory. How could a mere introduction to the ancient discipline of Qigong relieve pain, and give me the best experience of breathing I'd had in years. This may sound strange (Breathing? Really?) but I assure you it's true. I think I had forgotten how to breathe some years back, and it's been transformative to get that right again. I won't enumerate all the great outcomes. I do remain slightly mystified as to how something as subtle and quiet as this Qigong could have such far-reaching effects. Only wish I had started sooner. And I'll just add that Qigong is only a part of the healing work they do!

Jacob is Awesome and changed my life…read more He transformed my life from being in constant debilitating back pain into A man who just completed a two-week, 70-mile backpacking trip with my son. Jacob created a specific program with a long-term for me and makes on the fly adjustments that address how and what I am doing at that moment. He blends multiple disciplines with a touch of philosophical/mental growth. He continues to surprise and amaze me with isometrics and exercises that I apply every day in my life that really improve my physical and mental health. I incorporate his knowledge into my daily life. I find myself exercising and stretching in micro-doses all through the day. No equipment required, just a conscious thought: Relieve that slight pain in my hip or recognize I am dropping my shoulder as I get fatigued during the day. I absolutely recommend you visit Jacob and check out what he can do for you. Pain rehab, core strengthening, posture improvement, attitude, and energy boost: I have realized and continue to use Jacob to expand myself in all these areas.

I believe Alive and Well has strong potential to deliver an exceptional experience; however, I…read morecontinue to feel disappointed by the level of service provided, particularly given the amount I invest as a client. To date, I have spent several thousand dollars across their services - I am currently enrolled in the Elite Family membership ($400/month), have purchased the functional medicine package ($500), and have also transitioned my medspa services (e.g., botox, etc.) to their practice. While the membership offerings themselves are appealing, the overall experience has been inconsistent. For example, the locker room amenities frequently fall short of expectations. In the evenings, the water is often empty, which may seem small but is not in line with the standard one would expect from a "luxury" facility - especially one that includes a sauna. Additionally, my boyfriend has experienced similar issues in the men's locker room, including a lack of available towels. These recurring issues detract from the overall experience. My functional medicine appointment was a positive experience. Rebecca provided a thoughtful and comprehensive review of my bloodwork along with actionable recommendations. However, the follow-up experience has been frustrating. When I reach out through the patient portal with questions, the responses tend to focus on promoting additional memberships rather than addressing my specific concerns. For example, when I recently inquired about peptides, I was directed toward a peptide membership rather than receiving straightforward guidance. I prefer a model where I can pay for services as needed, without the pressure to enroll in ongoing memberships. Overall, it feels as though the business model is heavily centered around enrolling clients in multiple memberships, which makes it difficult to access continued care without additional commitments. This approach has impacted my experience and may ultimately influence whether I continue seeking services with Alive and Well. Medspa services with Kelly are great. She listens and gives great guidance! If you are strictly going for the spa (sauna, cold plunge, massages, facials), it is a beautiful and relaxing environment. However, if you plan to add the functional medicine package, the experience may shift from relaxing to frustrating due to persistent upselling and pressure to enroll in additional memberships.

Sarah has over 7 years of experience and is not only good at what she does but you can tell that she loves her work and takes time to perfect her craft. It is also extremely rare to find a quality beautician who does not oversell procedures and treatments. Sarah gives great recommendations that enhances your natural beauty and that is what I love about her work. This new facility has everything you can dream of: cold plunges, IV drips, massages, body treatments, oxygen tanks and much more. They even have a meditation room for sound baths! Their sauna was still under construction when I stopped by to see Sarah last week but I'm excited to try all their amenities in the near future. I can't speak for their membership program as I exclusively see Sarah for treatments but that's also an option for people who see themselves going to med spas frequently. They also have their own in house pharmacy full of supplements and other holistic/natural heath goodies.
