I recently did a lot of research and shopped around, but ended up buying a car from Oak Ridge Auto sales. I looked at a ton of cars in the same price range at other dealerships the same day and they all had what I think are major issues that made me walk away. I'm not ecstatic about the prices, but I don't blame them for that. I blame the terrible economy and the prices of new cars. In a bad economy like we've had, people run their older cars longer and so it's harder to find a good used car for cheap. I drove and looked over the car and bought it because I think it will be reliable for a few years at least. Josh was the only person I met at Oak Ridge Auto and he was super nice. I like the low pressure. They let me come back on a Sunday and pick it up, which is very nice of them. I would shop here again. read more

So I purchased a car here 8/6/24. On 8/9/24 it was at the shop having the alternator replaced. Now I don't put this part on them because I do understand alternators can go out in a instant. However on 8/13/24 I noticed water just pouring in the trunk. And I don't meet a leak. Literally pouring. The weather tech mat had every bit of at least an inch of water. This is the part I have a hard time believing they didn't know about. I was told the car had been on the lot approximately 3 months and that they had used the car several times to make deliveries around town and other small things of that nature.. With that said I truly believe they hid the leak from me because of how severe it really is on both sides. read more

FAKE REVIEWS - DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!! Read below for my honest review. But look at their reviews on Google and notice I was the only review and then all of a sudden, people were coming out of the woodwork to post reviews? Check Facebook - Rob Whitestone, Christie Latta, Kristine Cogdill, Lindsay Black...ALL FRIENDS OF BLAIN EAKER, who runs this business. They are posting fake reviews. I didn't even bother checking the others at that point. I posted a review on Facebook and they immediately took it down to make it look like they get all 5 stars reviews (they only had one at the time). If they go to such lengths as to delete bad reviews and have their Facebook friends post fake reviews on Google, that tells you what kind of dealership this is. Absolutely no stars. Matter of fact, BUYER BEWARE when working with this dealership! On Saturday, my husband and I bought a Range Rover and asked if the peeling on the grill was from coolant leaking and was told the car is checked over by a mechanic. Living in Raleigh, we did not have a mechanic to take it to but felt this was an honest dealership. WRONG!! Four days later had to have it towed and our local Land Rover dealership deemed it UNDRIVABLE. PM me and I will show you the $13k quote to replace the blown head gasket (that the LR dealership said based on the amount of melting plastic around it, this had been blown for a while and did not occur on our drive home from Greensboro to Raleigh), all the control arms in the front need to be replaced, and one day after we bought it the drivers side mirror stopped working. We asked Blain if they would consider just paying for a portion of the bill, especially since the mechanic states the blown gasket did not happen recently. They will be paying ZERO! So keep that in mind if considering buying from them as Blain/Oak Ridge Auto Sales does not stand behind the cars they are selling to you!! I posted a bad review (needless to say) on their Facebook page and they took it down but left up the ONLY good review they've gotten. I'm sure I'm not the only bad review and they take them all down. warning, DO NOT buy from here. I spent almost $30,000 on a 2018 chevy silverado with 126k miles on it, looked great, drove well on the test drives. 2 days after buying it and taking it home it began to leak Transmission Fluid, Oil, and Coolant. We took it back and they offered to fix it at no cost to myself. Not a week after I got it back it began to leak Transmission Fluid incessantly, I took it to a trust worthy mechanic and got it fixed. It's been 2 weeks since then and now the entire Transmission needs to be replaced. It's going to cost me roughly $8,000 to fix. I am now left with a $30,000 lawn ornament. Please do NOT buy from these guys, they seem trust worthy but obviously I am not the only one that has been screwed over. read more

I bought a 2008 Tundra on line , paid full price on assurance they were a reputable dealer. My sales person was very easy to deal with but that is where the romance ended, in come a very unprofessional sales manager. The tires were well past the safely margine and I ask if there could be some help on getting some tires installed. Sales manager got all flustered , grabbed a phony tire wear gage , run out side with out me and come back and proceeded to tell me they were just fine. I have been a professional auto tech since 1966 and I am well aware of when tires are wore out. She never extended or ask me To accompany when she was doing the check. She then told me about a tire shop she works with and they would give the best deal in town, Ihave land in Arizona that is a tropical paradise , enough said. So we headed west only to find out the inside windows were filthy and visibility was compromised, also at 68 plus miles per hour you could hardly hang on to the steering wheel. We stopped in Knoxville and 1500 bucks later we got the vibration fixed with new tires. We are taking this back to Portland Or. so I thought I should check the oil after every thing else, filthy and two quarts low. So you can draw your own conclusion from this and I hope we make it back with out any more hidden surprises . read more

vehicle i test drove was in disrepair and brakes almost gone caused a near-miss situation at the first intersection out of the dealership. next the clutch barely shifted, hard to get it in, okay, its a track-type vehicle but icing on this poo-platter was water and engine oil mixed and a string of air-fresheners to cover up burnt oil smells in cockpit. not sure guessing fake reviews on google but yeah i just left as quick as i could, glad to leave without any further complications read more
