I recently visited Oak Ridge floral for a birthday, Valentine's Day and a funeral. I had some idea what I wanted each time, and discussed these with the team there and they were fantastic at understanding my wishes and discussing options with me, including price. The results each time were perfect, they absolutely nailed it. I was also impressed by how long each arrangement lasted; each were looking good after a full week and most until about two weeks (these were fresh cut arrangements and I did replace the water regularly). I was also impressed with the level of customer service. When I came in for the funeral arrangements, I noticed one arrangement waiting to be delivered to me (big coincidence!) and offered to take it with me then. But they insisted on delivering it anyway so as not to risk spilling any water in my car. They also offered to pick up the flowers from the memorial service, store them in their fridge, and deliver them to the cemetery the next day--all for no additional charge. (Although to be fair, that was a large order, so I'm not sure they could afford to do this routinely.) Overall, extremely happy with these guys, and I think anyone else would be too. I was the recipient of two floral arrangements from this florist following surgery and for Mother's Day. Both were beautiful!! The cut flowers bouquet in glass vase lasted a long time (I refreshed the water). Both deliveries were late in the day after 6 pm (one was 8 pm!) which was surprising (and unexpected that late). I cannot comment on the value, fees, or ordering process as I was not the purchaser. read more

Flowers were ordered on Friday for Saturday delivery and were not delivered until Monday at 5pm. When no one answered door no attempt was made to contact me or leave them with a neighbor. they were instead left in the porch in 30 degree weather and were found wilted and dead the next morning. Spoke with manager Shad Sanders who flat out lied during our conversation and refused to replace flowers or refund money. Teleflora was notified and gave full refund. Take your business elsewhere!! read more

Ordered mother's day flowers, got the florists pick. Mom loved them and that's really all that matters.

Just ordered a peace lily for someone who lost their father. Firstly, the delivery was extremely late, 830pm and the delivery person was rude, argumentative and unprofessional. Secondly, the order was wrong because it was supposed to have a white ribbon and it came with a red and white ribbon. The driver then argued and became hostile claiming that the call center that took the order was of a certain ethnicity and therefore that was the problem. So not only was he unprofessional but also racist as well. Then the owner texts me and also defends the delivery person and basically blames the call center. I did receive an email regarding my order and it clearly said white ribbon. So this florist is bad and has very poor customer service. Never use them! read more

I used FTD to send my daughter a birthday arrangement with a mylar balloon. Her work is in Maryville, TN. The flowers arrived but no balloon. I was VERY disappointed. I called FTD who then notified the florist, Oak Ridge Floral. FTD called me back and said I could drive there to get the balloon or get a refund. Why should I drive all the way to Oak Ridge because THEY DID NOT FILL THE ORDER CORRECTLY? Why would FTD use a florist so far away and only has a 3 star rating. I see why they have a 3 star rating. I paid $20 for delivery and they couldn't even get it right. I had to take the $6 refund. Very disappointed. read more

Love this florist. I live out of town and routinely use this florist to send flowers to friends and family in Oak Ridge. They are very friendly and willing to answer any questions I have about what's in and what they recommend. I also hate carnations and always ask them to avoid using carnations or red flowers in my arrangements and they have never let me down. I'm deployed military and wanted to surprise my wife with a nice bouquet of 30 roses for our thirtieth anniversary. Ordered a week in advance to be certain she got them at work. I message her about an hour before she gets off work and still no flowers? She ends up calling to see where her "surprise" flowers are. Ordered through ProFlowers. Added my phone number as I wanted it to be a surprise to the recipient, not realizing it would be this huge of an issue. Was contacted and told them as soon as I could I would figure out which floor, ste, etc to make delivery easier. 2 hours later, Dwight calls, completely belligerent about how the Asians have this figured out(what?), Americans go to a website and expect a miracle (again, what?), how ProFlowers gets $15 immediately from each order (ok, and ?), how his driver would waste 4 hours on delivery, getting more and more agitated at me for not giving him specific directions. Its the POB of the hospital. I told him exactly how to get there, which entrance would be best, the suite number, which floor, and the Dr's name. He continues to berate me for using a website "run by the Asians who have this figured out", 14 minutes in to the phone call I've given him every bit of information he needs, apologized, and he is still on a tangent. I tell him I will just cancel the order as it seems to be more trouble than its worth at this point and he flips his lid! Tells me I don't understand, followed by "I'm not talking to you" and hangs up. Wow. Called back 20 minutes later and spoke to a woman who told me "That's just how Dwight is." Maybe Dwight shouldn't handle customer relations and maybe you shouldn't contract with a website run by Asians if you are going to be mad about the orders that come through it. Also, I don't care how much ProFlowers received. I paid for flowers locally crafted and delivered and received nothing but anxiety and a person who clearly doesn't need to be on the other end of a phone... Let me start by saying my day had been great until I received a phone call from the delivery guy saying, he is running late and if I could meet him somewhere to pick up my own flowers. The flowers were suppose to be a surprise from my boyfriend for my birthday. So, after work I had to meet the driver at Shoney's in the parking lot to get them. I was so frustrated that I had to pick up my own flowers on my birthday and it is also unprofessional to make someone get their own flowers. The next day I called the company in Oak Ridge and talked to the manager. She told me that the driver went and I quote "above and beyond his call of duty" I got so angry because he did not do that at all. I kept telling her that it's not right for me to go get them and she was not being helpful. I asked for a refund and she said there is nothing she can do since I got the flowers. Ordered Flowers through 1-800-Flowers for my 91 year old Mom, it's Sat night and they say it may be 8pm before they are delivered. She goes to bed at 7pm, this was not disclosed and on the website. Very disappointing and I will never use 1-800-Flowers again. Horrible service and they don't care about their customers, this florist is one of 3 that services their orders, beware. After ordering flowers on line, FTD online used this florist to make the arrangement. Received the flowers and they were not as seen online. I called the customer service for FTD online and was told they would give me a 10% discount, which I said was not enough. I requested a full refund which they finally agreed to give me and said they would pick the flowers up. I called Oak Ridge floral and was berated by the lady who answered the phone. She said I got more than I paid for and I should just be happy, and FTD online uses bait and switch photos and information in their descriptions and beside it is Valentines and their delivery service is all tied up. After thinking about it I realized they had been making up arrangements and decided to leave the roses out of my flowers to use in others. They too offered to give me a 10% discount or make another arrangement after Valentines day. I told them I ordered for Valentines day and if they could not get me the flowers delivered I wanted a full refund and I would get the flowers elsewhere, to which she said "well in the future go to Walmart and get your flowers". I will never use FTD online, Oak Ridge Floral, or any other FTD florist again. Go elsewhere to purchase if you want to be happy with your order. read more
