I have been dealing with John (and his son Chris) for almost 10 years now. We live about 5 minutes away in Oak Ridges. Their prices are always fair, their service is always great, and when they promise a time, they deliver. I recently took in my 2016 Jeep for service to the rear windshield wiper, and John actually made manual repairs to the mechanism, for $40, rather than install a new wiper motor, which I can guarantee anyone else would have done, and would have charged $400 plus labor. What can I say, I love the guy (John - who is always there), and I consider him to be a true gem, and as the other reviewer said, a credit to the community. We've been bringing our cars to this family-owned and run business for years and have always received an honest opinion and expert service. All this just for a simple oil change and tire balancing!!! In my opinion this place is a scam, I took in my 2007 Odyssey for a simple oil change and a tire balancing, and this is what happened: For the balancing it actually became even worse, I contacted them (John) and they told me to bring it in again, this time they fixed it, I had to leave my work twice, don't understand why they couldn't do it the first time! For the oil change, I noticed after a while that there are oil spills on my driveway, once looked underneath I found that there is a leakage. Called them again, they told me bring it in again, I did, they checked and told me that the oil drainage bolt has lost its thread! How? Why? God knows! Obviously someone, unprofessional mechanic, just kept on tightening and tightening the bolt until it lost its thread. Now I have to pay extra to find a bigger bolt and make a new thread, this is consuming extra time and money! Consumers be aware, I will never trust the Oak Ridges Tire & Auto Centre located at 12960 Yonge St. AGAIN What happened to me could happen to anyone!!! read more
