His headstone was placed earlier than expected and it is engraved with a personal message I was able to create. The grounds are expertly groomed year round and it is a beautiful place to visit. This benefit to our veterans and spouses is very special and I am grateful that my husband served so that we could be placed in such beautiful surroundings. The cemetery is open from dawn to dusk everyday despite their posted main office hours.

It's located right off of I-55 and Butler Hill, and has lots of parking. Nobody WANTS to be here in all honesty, but if you have to host a funeral/wake, this is a decent option.

First, the team I worked with was very understanding in where I wanted to bury my ex husband, my son. They also understood where I wanted(in the future). My ex husband was a so sudden and Shawn was happy to hurry and find a plot that was near our son. Our son passed away 11 days later and I was back at Sunset Memorial! I was worried about pall bears for my son as our family was aging, aginShawn came to the rescue, he had some of his employees standing by to help our family with the burial. Finally, he helped me with the head stones for both of them! Both of those deaths were completely not expected, so I was really glad that Sunset Memorial was there to help me in my time of need.
