To be fair they re-did our original driveway and it came out nice, so it seemed like a no-brainer to hire them again. Jason talked me into putting in extra asphalt that they had left over from their previous job as it would make the extension even sturdier and he would give me a deal. I said sure, and I've been hitting myself for that decision ever since. They didn't give me a drive way extension, they gave me a hill of asphalt next to my driveway! I called Jason nearly every week to get this fixed as I knew it would be a pain to get my snow blower over the hump that they left. He made many promises that they would come out but they were constantly followed by excuses on why they couldn't come. It was around September that he stopped taking my calls or returning my messages altogether. Here we are in February and that whole side of the driveway is covered in snow, because, as predicted, my snow blower gets caught up on the hump. This is the most unprofessional B.S. I've ever seen with a contractor. Especially one that touts a satisfaction guarantee on their contract. So save your time, save the frustration, and just go with someone else. It will be worth the extra money, because with this place, you'll just have to spend the coin to hire someone else to fix their mistakes anyways.

Extremely Disappointed -- Poor Quality and Overpriced…read more We hired David and Live Earth Landscaping and deeply regret the decision. The project was overpriced, the workmanship was poor, and we were met with lots of promises that turned into constant excuses once issues started showing up. They were quick to collect payment, but much less responsive when it came time to fix their mistakes. He held $100K deposit for over two years due to construction delays. He would not refund the deposits. Keep in mind this was only the deposit. Our yard was left with rocks scattered all over the topsoil, which is dangerous with small children playing outside. Even worse, there were exposed lighting wires and water lines--a clear safety concern that should never happen on a finished job. The grass never grew in properly, and many of the plants and flowers died, even though they were supposed to be under warranty. Despite repeated attempts to get them back to address the problems, we've seen little to no follow-through. At the end I addressed most issues myself. I asked him to please address the dead plants and bent gutter drain they installed, still nothing. I will upload photos later today. I spoke to the owner over a month ago and he said they would fix it under the warranty and they would be out within a week. Since then he has gone silent and hasn't responded to a single phone call or text. At this point it has become extremely unprofessional and I will have to pursue legal action. Please, beware of this company regardless of their reviews(read there most recent reviews, all 1 star), I have had an awful experience and I paid for all services and sign a warrantied contract. You have many options in and around town.
