The top half was broken badly and when he examined it properly he said that it couldn't be repaired. Since it was the front door we were really stuck, but he jumped in and gave a reasonable quote and made an entirely new top half which fit perfectly, and had it ready by 5pm. Hinges and lock all slotted into place just fine. Really quality workmanship.

He has a professional style and he is a talented individual that demonstrates unique precision skilled craftsmanship in the woodworking industry which is needed in key few restoration selected groups. I would not say a lot about genuine workmanship but with his experience as a skillful carpenter or journey master craftsman he has gain my confidence & respect. I didn't notice the "issue" during the walk thru with the contractor who built my home, so I doubt they would have agreed to fix the issue especially since it was purely cosmetic. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands (and wallet, lol) and contact Get a Grip Resurfacing to see if they could help. And, my gosh, did they help! Vince, the professional assigned to my job, did an incredible job. The tub looks better than it ever did! It took two different applications of materials/polishing, etc., but the end result was incredible for, in my opinion, a reasonable price. They are very busy, and it took a while to get on their calendar, but the wait was worth it. Take it from this professor, A+ all around.

It has travelled the world. With it's age, our dry humidity and lack of maintenance, it was falling apart. The legs were detaching, the wood had expanded on the tray, the bottom was weak. This is a priceless heirloom in our family. Long story short, Alonzo was able to bring it back to how it looks and functioned 40 years ago. My daughters and I had tears of joy. He was up front and honest and let us know that due to the construction and age of the table that while he could make it look good, he couldn't make it look brilliant. We decided to proceed with the work and had him scheduled to come out the following week. Mark worked tirelessly, on-site, for 3 days. I do not know what kind of magic tools and extreme patience he must possess but out table looks FABULOUS! It has never looked this good. He even got us a great deal on some protective glass to complete the look and protect the table for even longer. Mark was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was kind, professional and best of all, very honest when it came to explaining what reasonable expectations for the finished product would be.
