I have an open floor plan in my house, and I wanted them to build a soffit to delineate space between the kitchen/dining area and the living room, put a faux beam under it, and make it look like it's always been there. I also wanted them to attach faux beams from the soffit to the wall across the space to create a modern take on Viga beams. They did a stunning job. The quality of their craftsmanship is clear. They were extremely timely in their responses and highly communicative and patient when I had questions, when I needed them to coordinate purchasing and picking up product, and even when I changed the scope of the project. And now, I have gorgeous, tightly assembled floors, new baseboard trim, and a home that I couldn't be more excited to move in to. They don't have the fancy schmancy brick and mortar store, or a dedicated office admin, or a glitzy website - things that usually sway me, but rest assured they are the real deal. Took two Hunter Douglas blinds that wouldn't raise anymore…read more. They were still under warranty.. I was told that Hunter Douglas charges $75 dollars shipping each way to have the blinds repaired but they have someone local who could fix them. When I went to pick them up they charged me $150 for repairs that I assumed would be covered by warranty. Called Hunter Douglas warranty department and was told they have no fixed rate for shipping. Sooo not happy with that.
