Coming back to riding after a long time (over 25 years) I was full of apprehension about the kind of experience it was going to be. But all the online reviews had nothing but praise for Kelsey and her organization, and they were right. The horses are super--well-trained, and Kelsey, the owner, is very thoughtful and deliberate about the horse she pairs you with for each lesson. The staff are all polite and helpful; much more than any other place I've looked into. Last, Kelsey is second to none in patient, thorough instruction of horsemanship. She's willing to match her pace to yours, and helps a student progress without feeling pushed. I feel her personality also sets up an environment that's collaborative and friendly, which has not always been the case in barns where I've ridden. Prices are reasonable, the location is lovely, and the instructor will make you want to come back again and again! Highly, highly recommended. The Yelp address is not accurate; be sure to ask for specific directions before your first visit. GPS won't help!

Oakridge was an excellent first experience for my 5 year old daughter! She did the summer horse camp and I felt comfortable leaving her there 9am-12pm each day because she was in good hands (and hooves)! Kelsey, Kirby and all her helpers were so knowledgable, professional, friendly, and caring, the barn was clean, organized and safe. The horses are calm, well trained, healthy looking and they supplied all the boots, helmet, supplies. I can't say enough good about this place...great choice for beginner or any level!

    They're flying!! :)

I began taking dressage lessons with Brittany several weeks ago. I've ridden my entire life, but…read morehaven't done much the last several years. Brittany's facility is quite nice, very clean and the horses are all very well cared for. These were all reasons I chose Breezy Meadows. Brittany is very kind and knowledgeable, not to mention very patient in easing an adult back into proper form. I would recommend this barn to others seeking to learn how to ride or continue to ride. Although, I only ride English, she offers other disciplines, as well.

AVOID BREEZY MEADOWS!…read more Like Jeff C. and several of the filtered reviews, I had a horrible experience with Breezy Meadows. I brought my horse over on Friday, February 2nd, 2024. I started having problems by the second day in. They barely put any shavings in the stalls... not even enough to soak up the urine or to cover the floor. They only sprinkle in a little bit of fresh shavings every 3-4 days, which is unsanitary. I spoke with Brittany Burzynski several times requesting extra shavings. I wanted thick and cushy shavings in the stall. She told me it would be an extra $80. I confirmed that I would pay this. There were still no shavings in the stall after a week and multiple conversations about this problem. My horse was standing in urine!!! So I was in a rush to find another facility for my baby. Luckily, I found an amazing barn that was able to squeeze her in in a rush, since the conditions were really bad where she was currently at. I moved her out on the 16th (Exactly 2 weeks from when she was brought to Breezy.) I gave my 30 days notice and paid the additional two weeks in March, which was required when I gave my 30 day notice, and I ate the 2 additional weeks in February. I just wanted her out of there. While moving her out, Tyler Burzynski was extremely aggressive. He handed me my contract after I told him I already have a copy. Then he started yelling at me and recording me with his phone telling me that this is his property and I need to leave. Which I was in the process of doing since I was getting in my car with all of my things before he started making a scene. I asked him why he's recording me because he's the one causing a scene in front of all of his customers, and he proceeded to yell at me. So I got my car and left. He recorded me driving down the street which is completely stupid he was the one causing a problem. Also, paid an additional $100 for Orchard hay since they only feed alfalfa. I asked for the additional hay that I paid for when I was leaving, because I paid for a month of hay, and I was only there for for two weeks. Tyler got in my face and said that I'm not getting my hay and then I need to leave his property (which they rent from the owner of the house.) This complete BS since I paid for it. Tyler took it upon himself to block the entrance to the stable with his truck and trailer, so that we had to bring my horse into the street to load her. They really do not care about the safety of the horses. On another note, Brittney Burzynski advised me for the first month at the barn to start with half training to ease my Mare in. I agreed to this. Half training is $450 for three days of training per week. Full training is $700 for five days of training per week. After I gave my notice, I was told that she LUNGED her 3 times... and since I never signed a training contract which I was never told to sign, I need to pay her for lessons at $65 an hour ($195) The ONLY reason I paid this is because I was trying to get get my horse out safely, without having any problems. Welp, that didn't happen. AVOID BREEZY MEADOWS!!! (If anyone would like to message me I will send every message between Brittney Burzynski and I, so you don't feel like I'm cropping the conversation.) *Update on Brittney's response. This is not a fake account. Marie is my middle name and A is my maiden last name. Brittney E....

I decided to write a review regarding the horseback riding lessons at this wonderful stable and I…read moremust say, it has been an incredible experience for my daughter Delilah. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel welcome and at ease. The instructor, Laura, was knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensuring that my daughter feels comfortable before getting on the horse. The horses themselves were well-trained and gentle, making it easy for a beginner like my daughter to learn the basics of riding. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with a spacious arena for practicing different exercises and techniques. Throughout the lessons in these past 6 months we have see the improvement and how she is gaining confidence with each ride. Laura provides helpful feedback and guidance, pushing Delilah to challenge herself and try new things. Overall, I highly recommend taking horseback riding lessons at this stable. I read a recent review left by someone claiming that the staff here are not kind or welcoming to minorities. This has never been the case for us as we are Mexican. So that statement is far from being true. I highly recommend this place to all who are looking to start horseback riding. My daughter is 14 and looks forward to her classes with Laura and her favorite horse, Skylar. Thank you so much! Best, Delilah's parents

This is a great riding center. Trainer Laura is amazing and she is so great with the students. She is patient and really teaches. All the school horses are are great and very well taken care of.. They teach/train all levels, from beginners to advanced. My daughter's riding has improved so much since starting here and she loves it. The pricing is very reasonable and I think you get so much more vs other riding schools/centers we've been too. All the staff is attentive and courteous. The barn area is always clean and organized. There are quite a few riding schools in the area and we checked them out. I am so happy we landed here. We love FFF!
