For a while that I was living there it wasn't too bad, the inside is alright, and the neighbors were friendly. The location itself looked lovely since the surrounding neighborhood look like drug central. Anyway, my landlord at the time was Lisa. The first issue I had was that when I was moving in, I accidentally scuffed up the bannister leading upstairs. I told Lisa about it 3 times, never once got a reply or ever got it repaired. The next issue was that the toilet had gotten busted, I tried calling and emailing Lisa. For about a week no reply, I had to go use other bathrooms because I only had one toilet. So I finally had my friend fix it and cancel the repairs. I then get an angry voice message from Lisa telling me the maintenance people are suppose to fix it, not just some random person. So I call her back, leaving her a voice message saying "You never got in touch with me, so what was I suppose to do? Not have a working toilet until you finally decided to have the maintenance guy fix it? No!" Then finally we moved out, had enough of the horrible management and the way Lisa was running things. So we cleaned up our place and left, I then get several voice messages from Lisa telling me how we left it in a war zone and how she had even called my mother to complain. So now I had my mom jumping my case as well. So I went back to the apartment and took pictures, yea it was a tad messy, pretty much normal wear and tear and sent them to my mom. My mom was now furious at Lisa for lying to her and for wasting her time. Then the worse thing she has done, when we were trying to move I put Lisa down as previous rental history, and when my hopeful future landlord called Lisa completely lied about me. Telling them how I had pretty much trashed the place and they had to fix it completely. That's funny since I got most of my security deposit back and did not owe them a dime. So my boyfriend and I went to talk to Lisa about this. I asked her to see my records and she said to me she had thrown them out. I know you didn't throw out my records, you just didn't want to show me that you had just lied to me. I will never ever rent from this place, nor will I ever recommend someone to rent from RAP. Stay away from them! They are liars and simply want your money. They will not do repairs and will lie about you to future landlords.

I was shocked to discover print outs of my private social media page in my rental file. The staff caused me untold amounts of distress. My friends who used to rent with them became ill from the toxic mold, but the staff refused to take accountability, much less resolve the issue gracefully. I also became ill, but couldn't attribute it to mold until I moved out and no longer had symptoms. They blame the residents and their cleaning habits on the mold, no matter how obsessively clean you are and the fact that there is no ventilation. Rent increases to live in a place that makes you both physically and emotionally sick. Unethical people, and terrible attitudes. Spare yourself the grief from renting from them.
