I came to this Service Canada for a passport renewal. I made an appointment ahead of time online,…read morealmost two months in advance. Even then, it was really hard to find the perfect time slot so definitely check often and early if you want to make an appointment. There was a lot of signage on the outside of this location. One of the signs instructed those with an appointment to skip any line and go directly to the welcome desk. I read this twice before heading in. There was a line of about 8 parties of folks waiting to be seen on one side of the stanchions. It was mortifying to be the one person on the other side walking right past the line. I actually walked back outside to check the sign again before doing so. I'm really glad I followed the instructions though because once the Service Canada member was done assisting the current guest, they immediately asked me if I had an appointment to ease my insecurities. At check-in, I confirmed the details of my appointment. I was then sent to the waiting area where I was told I'd hear my name called. There isn't a speaker or number system there so you really have to listen since the reps are behind plexiglass. I only waited 10 minutes past my allotted appointment time to be seen. The rep that helped me was friendly and polite. Pretty day and night from some horror stories I had at DMVs in the US!

What a frustrating experience! We've been to this location 3 times now for the same issue. We made…read morean appointment each time which meant taking time off work. Each time we had a different agent and each time we were told a different story about what paperwork was needed to put my name as a co-owner of a leased car we decided to buy. the agent wasn't rude: she just didn't care. She neither apologized nor acknowledged the inconvenience of our experience. Saying "sorry for the inconvenience " didn't cross her mind. It was clear that she wasn't very experienced. That's fine; no one's born to a job. She then asked her coworker some questions . What bothered us is that she asked these questions in another language. She had my passport, drivers license, and other private information in front of her and she's speaking another language which we didn't understand. Don't mind her asking questions to do a better job; however, speaking in a different language while you have private information in front of you from a client is disrespectful. It's rude. Even worse: no transparency. English is not my first language, but in 30 years of dealing with clients in the public and private sectors, I've never seen this happen. ( If we were guests in a non-speaking English or French country we would understand. This was not the case. ) Poor job training, lack of common sense, inconsistent and incomplete information and disinterest in our situation was evident. A bit of empathy and willingness to help would have gone a long way. Rename this location "Lack of Service, Ontario"

This park is on the lake side and the views are so divine and breathtaking. Don't know how I missed this place before. It's so difficult to express in words how serene and beautiful this park is. Perfect place to go and relax and disconnect. You can even see Toronto Skyline from here. There is also a viewing deck, from where you can get a better overall view. This pictures don't do justice to this place. You have experience this place with your eyes. I found this park in fall and went there few times in last weeks of fall before snow. I just envy the people who live close to this place. There were few houses close by, that have balconies opening to lake view. Oh it must be so amazing to wake up everyday to this heavenly view!!

Skylights letting the sunlight in, just so soothing. Love those huge tanned floor to ceiling windows that look out to the main business area. I can stay here for a while... even a whole afternoon. But there's a $1/hour charge for parking which is not bad and it is free on Sundays.

Not only do they have a play house, train tables but they also have this little hallway with explore tables where kids can test different fine motor skills etc. They have two program rooms where you can sign up for different programs throughout the year, some are free and some have a fee ( anywhere between $40 - $60 for 8 week program ). But you need to register quick because they go fast!! They are not only specific to this branch but all over the Oakville Libraries. You register online.
