She undid the hem right then, measured the pants length properly, and had them ready within two days, just in time for the wedding - crisis averted! The hem was perfect, with a half break just like a wanted. Inna herself was very warm and friendly. Her shop was stylish and classy, and I loved the classical music she had playing in the background. Alaa Zavee is his name and I met him at the Wintonbury Tailor Shop. I walked in on a Friday morning to get the waist taken in and the length shortened on a new pair of pants. He told me they'd be ready the next day, and at just $35 I was blown away by his price and service. After alterations, of course they fit me perfectly. So if a) you want to deal with a nice friendly guy, b) get things tailored for a reasonable price, and c) super fast turn-around, head on over to the Wintonbury mall and meet Alaa. We walked and got a coffee, came back 10 minutes BEFORE our dry time was over and as I walked in I saw 1 of our dryers full of clothes was thrown in a basket, while the other on the bottom was still tumbling. I commented aloud how rude and aggressive it was for whomever did it, this weird pervy guy turns around and starts yelling how it was him and the lady at the desk said he could. Not only does the staff condone messing with other people's laundry, but they encourage it. Our clothes weren't even dry, they definitely needed the extra 10 minutes we still had on the timer. There's several issues with this, but the biggest would be if this is really the policy of just pulling laundry out when you feel like it, you'd think the staff would put gloves on and do it for the impatient customer, rather than encouraging some random man to dig through my underwear and the underwear of our young child. It's gross and when I asked the workers about it they only stated "we're not responsible for what happens to your clothes"... sure but you should NOT ENCOURAGE it from random people off the street. I asked for the owners information, his name is Steve, and I was told by Ian and Sonia that this is Steve's policy and he encourages it. So I will definitely not be back, and I do encourage you to avoid it as well if this is a policy they encourage and defend. Gross.
