We are moving to internationally and needed to get health certificates for our three cats. We reached out to Oasis in late 2024 and they guided us through the process, the per-requisites, and important milestones. They did a initial pet health check and gave us a rabies booster in November 2024. They suggested we come back before our travels. Fast forward to June 2025, we are weeks from our move and they did a final health check last night before completing and submitting our certificate request. I want to thank them for a professional experience. I also want to mention they are pet lovers. Continuing with the neg review! As vet Jamie stated that if I would have handled it differently she would have as well!! I was upset because I was charged 32 dollars per cat for a nail trim that most places charge around 15 ... without warning! Yes I should have asked but you should have mentioned it as well and that makes us both wrong ! However. As a business owner I would think you would want to have some compassion for your clients! Then as I stated you charged $42 for each cat for the rabies shot! This shot elsewhere is around $17 and the excuse was that they get discount for being a larger office with larger orders! Your office is over priced and very disappointing especially concerning how you treat people! As I picked up the records for my kittens I found it odd that my id number was needed in written form to receive the paperwork! Then when I looked at the records I was meet with a nice letter informing me to never come back.... And would be refused service even in an emergency! I'm so happy I found this amazing animal hospital. I just recently move from California and I had to leave my amazing Veterinarian, recently my dog was diagnosed with a cancerous mass at another hospital here in Henderson I won't name them but the physician care was horrible the way they delivered news was like, taking a drive thru order, anyway I had to go bad to California to have my vet do the surgery there because time was of essence and I couldn't find a good place here. A week after my dog surgery, she wasn't doing to good on her recovery so I needed to find a good veterinarian in Henderson but I was careful because of the past experience. I came across Oasis animal hospital and I read all the reviews here in Yelp and decided to make an appointment. When I call and I explain the staff what was the problem I was having they immediately gave me and appointment to come that same day. Omg I was impressed and relieved that I have found a great place to bring my fur babies when they are sick, and I can trust them and feel confident about the care my fur babies are getting. Dr. Augenstein is so caring, loving, and a great listener. She really cares about your fur babies. Also the whole staff is amazing Kari and jasmine gave me so much comfort and thanks to them my dog (ohana) is doing so much better. I couldn't have done it without them, I probably would have take another trip to California to see my other vet. But now I don't have too I know I can trust Dr. Augenstein and her staff to take care of my fur babies. Also their prices are very reasonable coming from California where the prices for a visit to the vet will be very expensive. The office employees seem very nice but because of the negligence of the vet my dog had to go to an emergency vet hospital over the memorial holiday & it was to late to save her. They never returned the calls I left. The vet could have listen to me describe the symptoms my little maltese had. It was obvious she had "little white dog shakers syndrome" but she wanted to wait till Tuesday. My dog shook so much that she couldn't be saved‼ It was such a simple thing to give her something but she did NOT listen!!! I still miss her & I blame her for killing her. I first started going to Oasis when Dr. Fisher was still there. Was about to switch to another vet when he told me I had to put down my dog because, well he bites, especially when nervous (he is a rescue and probably was abused. He is much better now. Love, exercise and consistency has changed him and he is a sweet and trusting dog nowadays, but sometimes still bites if you touch his rear or when brushed). But then Dr. Augenstein came around and had full understanding for a biting dog and how extra nervous they get at the vet's office. She is a great vet and we take all our dogs there. I had to take my dog in for an emergency bc his behavior was indicative of severe pain. They got me in within hours, didn't make a big deal when my dog peed in the corner of the office (they cleaned it up quickly), staff was Uber friendly. Best part was the vet on staff was incredibly knowledgeable and spent so much time explaining everything. And she didn't over charge me or take advantage of the emergency situation, she suggested an appropriate treatment and didn't push for extra unnecessary testing. She reassured me and was very kind and pleasant. I definitely recommend them!! read more

Dr. Augenstein gave me a prescription for my dogs food. Now that I want to get it filled somewhere other than at her office, she refuses to give authorization to Chewy.com. Rx is good for one year and she wrote it on June 20, 2020 and good until June 2021. I have been a client of Oasis for over 20 years, under Dr. Fisher (original owner) and always got first class service. Dr. A has not tried to help me is this matter; says that since I don't take my dogs there anymore, she refuses to help. She could have just said ok to Chewy.com about the prescription, and this would not have happened. Just goes to show you how unprofessional and uncaring they truly are. read more

I've been taking my 12 yr old yorkie since she was 2. Dr.Fisher is amazing and his staff as well! Dr.Fisher knows what he's doing and very knowledgeable. Jen the assistant is very friendly and always welcomes us like family. Even though I moved to the other side of town, I did not want to see any other doc than Dr.Fisher so I had to drive all the way to Henderson (about 40 minute drive) because my little yorkie had a pus under her eye due to tooth infection. They took care of it so well and had to get her teeth cleaned the same day. She was in and out and voila!!!! Her teeth are nice and clean and under control. We took in a cat that showed up in our back yard two weeks ago. They took the time to check him out and give him a once-over without charge. They said they appreciate us taking in a stray.
