He left a piece of the root in as it was a difficult extraction - the problem was, when I went back as it started protruding from the gum, they said "how do they know it was a piece of the tooth?" and were going to charge me to take it out (I already paid them $300+ the first time to take the tooth out. I went to another dentist ... literally less than five minutes in the chair and she popped it out. I wont go back to Dr Gresko. Positively, he was friendly.

All this man cares about is money, and not what is in the best interest of the patient. He does unnecessary extractions because they pay more (especially for status) and also because he refuses to stand behind his work when fillings come out. He treats his staff like they are second class citizens- he talks down to them in front of patients and refers to them as unconfident single mothers. His hygienist has shaky hands and I seriously wonder if she is qualified to do her job. His assistant doesn't even have a high school diploma, let alone a dental assisting certificate (which is illegal) He hires random uneducated/unqualified employees so he won't have to pay for experienced employees. I would strongly suggest thinking twice before walking into this office!!

I looked and looked and the soonest anyone get help was 6 months out; not viable considering the public nature of my work, and the pain. My dentist (shout out to Dr. Bagley: woop woop) highly recommended Scott Family Dental. Despite the excellent word of mouth and high recommendation, my hopes were not high for a quick solution. However, that changed after a detailed discussion with the courteous, empathetic and so professional, Dr. Gyula Forgo. After that first visit, I was so relieved and happy; with the timeline, the cost and the procedure. They used the newest technology to scan my mouth, have an excellent reception team (who literally allowed me to dance with joy in front of them with no judgment), and they gave me a quick solution i could afford. They offered free followup for fitting, but i haven't needed that. The new partial dentures seem very sturdy (excellent material build) and fit perfectly (literally, no pain after an all day wear at work). Doris is a great massage therapist. She's reasonably priced, very pleasant, is friendly but doesn't…read moretalk during your massage (unless that's what you like), and does a really good job. She's attentive to your individual needs and usually asks at the beginning of each appointment which areas need to be focused on and what you want. Her location in the Kangas Sauna is kind of awesome - it's convenient to go for a sauna and hot tub before or after your appointment. Her space is kind of small though, and can get pretty warm if the sun is shining in through the windows (placed high - no one can see in.) She does her best to keep the temperature comfortable in there with fans and stuff, but there have been a few times I've gone and found myself a little warmer than my ideal, though not uncomfortable. If you're looking for a real zen kind of atmosphere, look elsewhere. Her room is pretty cluttered and cramped and is very heavily decorated in a sea shore motif. However, this doesn't bother me at all, since once I'm on the table my eyes are closed and I'm off in my own little world anyway. You don't get the typical "spa" kind of experience here but Doris provides a really excellent service. She's not difficult to schedule either and is available at a pretty wide range of hours. Come with cash or a cheque - no Interac or credit card processing. If you have insurance get a receipt - she's a RMT so her services are claimable though she doesn't do direct billing.
