Horrible experience...could not wait to get them out of house & no longer deal w/them. Gave you an answer to everything & not necessarily the right answer. To date, having to invest $16,000. because lower level retaining water. But I'm sure that's our fault. This is how they make you feel...took No accountability for their poor workmanship. I contacted the organization via their website and received a response relatively quickly. I had a brief email exchange with the sales rep, in which I outlined my expectations for the meeting, the property we were considering and the type of home that would meet our needs. Upon arrival, we encountered an unfriendly and unwelcoming receptionist. The sales rep - unapologetically- had nothing prepared, nothing to show us in terms of floor plans, elevations or pricing. His desk was empty and literally showed us nothing tangible. We spent over two hours there and essentially walked away no further ahead. In comparison, I spoke with one of Oasis Homes' competitors and received everything I requested in a few brief emails and a 20 minute telephone conversation. It was, quite literally, the strangest customer experience I've ever had. read more

Was a complete waste of 4 days waiting for a call back. First time at building a home so wanted to ask some questions. The man who called me back had no enthusiasm what so ever, you'd think I was calling to schedule a schedule a funeral. If I were the sales person I certainly would call potential clients with some pep in my step. I asked 2 basic questions and got 1 worded answers with dead air as I was in awe that I was actually on the phone with a sales man!!! I will take my money elsewhere!!! read more

Called Oasis looking for a home, Budget $250,000 to put on 1 acre of water front land valued at $350,000. They flat out said we can't help you.(even though in their web site they state homes starting at $220,000) not even letting us come to their office to talk it over. Would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Called Oasis looking for a small home....I have land in Dexter Michigan valued at 140,000. The land has been perked and improved upon with Well and septic. I was told they do not build a house for under 200,000 so if you call there... unless you tell them you want a house that cost over 200,000 you can forget it. The receptionist told me they have to reperk the land which I have had perks already and told her I had certificate. she said they do everything themselves but that she that I needed to go elsewhere, they won't build a home for less than 200k even wirh cheapest materials etc. WHAT? They are 1 step above a double wide mobil home. These people are a rip-off she's also very rude and nasally she might want to work on her people skills. Do not go with these people I don't know how anyone could get past the initial phone consult. I have been to two Builders who gave me a lower quote and also told me that the land did not have to be repaired one Builder walk the land and was very happy to build me a house a small one 4 under 200. My father was a land developer and believe me I know a racket when I see one this is a racket. Read other reviews from people who built with them! .....I WENT WITH HECKAMAN AND IT'S GREAT!!!! PRACTICALLY THE SAME HOME FOR UNDER $200 AND IT'S GREAT. BUILDER VERY EXPERIENCED. .....also...received a mean message from Oasis regarding my review calling me a chronic complainer. Do you really want these guys working on your home. ..better hope you don't have any complaints. read more

Great staff. Could not ask for anything more in a home buying experience. Professional and knowledgeable staff members on location and in the field. Provides tons of information for the first time modular home buyers. They educated their customers and take their time. Raney is the best. Most builders are not reachable and do not communicate with you, but at this company you can talk to the owners. read more

Came in today to look at the model displayed at their parking lot, while we were touring, a lady came to us and told us there was a sales rep In building behind the model. I liked what I saw so me and my husband walked into the office building and asked how much would the house cost as shown in the model. The person in the counter refused to answer any questions and it appeared as if the price is a sliding scale. I kept asking why I couldn't get a price. So my husband walked out and then the owner came out tried to get my husband to come back, which he refused- I then told the owner his receptionist needs to work on her people skills- and they just lost a potential customer. If this is the way they are RUN FAST, because they will not provide honest prices as to what you are seeking. I will look elsewhere for a builder. read more

Unprofessional, deadlines not met, still do not have an actual living permit after 3 months of living in here, different colored cabinets aND they will not reorder to replace to normal color, don't even think they house will last five years because of all the problems we have had in the last few months. Everything is put together cheaply and stuff they broke during construction and moving they did not replace, just ignored after we pointed them out several time. Would not recommend oaisis himes to anyone!! read more
