I've never started a review like this before, so bear with me while I really express myself... So boom. I decided to bring my husband to this nail shop because I had been here before for a pedicure and had a good experience. I thought it would be the perfect place for him to feel comfortable getting his pedicure while also receiving great service. When we walked in, we were greeted by a woman with the biggest smile. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. I honestly thought she was going to be my nail technician, but she ended up taking care of my husband which actually worked out because I wanted him to have the best experience possible. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. From the moment my technician started working on me, she was rough. Every movement felt harsh pulling, tugging, and handling my feet with absolutely no gentleness. It wasn't just her technique; her attitude was just as cold. I believe everyone has bad days, but customers shouldn't have to be on the receiving end of them. Then came the polish. She asked me what color I wanted, and I gave her the exact number because I had already picked it out. She couldn't find it, and that's when her frustration became obvious. She started speaking in another language, tossing bottles around on the table, and visibly showing how irritated she was. I looked over at my husband and quietly said, "I don't think she's having a good day because she's been rough with me ever since she started." He began paying closer attention and noticed it too. When she came back, I even asked her, "Are you okay?" She quickly replied, "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay." She applied the first coat, then came back with a completely different polish than the one I requested. I stopped her and politely said, "Excuse me, that's not the color I asked for. Can you please get the one I requested?" Instead of simply correcting the mistake, she stormed off visibly upset. At that point, I had enough. I refused to let someone with that kind of attitude finish my service. I told them I would pay for what had already been done, but I would not be returning. I came in respectful, spent my hard-earned money, and did absolutely nothing to deserve being treated that way. Thankfully, my husband had already finished his pedicure and had a much better experience than I did. Somewhere in the middle of all this, we even had margaritas (ha!) which honestly may have given me the courage to stand up for myself because, if you know me, I'm usually the person who stays quiet just to avoid conflict. Not this time. I'm about to be 45, and I've reached a place in life where I refuse to pay people to mistreat me. If you're having a bad day, I truly hope it gets better--but don't (ever) take it out on your customers. Customer service matters just as much as the service you're providing. Sadly, because of this experience, I won't be returning. Respect goes both ways, and my money will be spent where kindness and professionalism are just as important as a good pedicure. I had Kim for my pedicure service and she did absolutely amazing job! She took her time and real pay attention to the details. She warmed the scrub and lotion so it won't be cold when she applied. It is a smaller salon, but they are very kind and sweet. read more

I've visited this salon before and have usually had great experiences, which is why this review is disappointing to write. Normally, I would have given 5 stars, but today's service fell short of my expectations. The technician who did my pedicure accidentally cut my big toe. What bothered me most was that she appeared to be trying to clean it up before I even noticed, although I could clearly feel the cut. Accidents happen, but I would have appreciated honesty and acknowledgment. I was also disappointed that other customers were offered drinks while I was never offered one. It may seem like a small thing, but it made me feel overlooked compared to other clients. At checkout, I chose not to leave a tip because I did not feel the service warranted one. A tip should reflect exceptional service and is not something customers should feel obligated to provide. Unfortunately, when I declined to leave a tip, the attitude at the front desk noticeably changed, and I wasn't even thanked for my business. Another thing that stood out was how a staff member was treated. A young gentleman who appeared to be helping with drinks and organizing new polish products was being loudly reprimanded by an older woman in front of customers. The way she spoke to him was disrespectful and unprofessional. How employees are treated reflects on the business as a whole, and it was uncomfortable to witness. To make matters worse, after each service they send customers a survey link to provide feedback. I actually clicked on the survey link intending to leave my comments about this experience, but it would not even allow me to submit my feedback. That was incredibly frustrating and honestly ridiculous. Since I was unable to share my experience through their own feedback system, I'm leaving my review here on Yelp instead. Overall, while the nail services themselves were okay, the customer service and overall atmosphere were disappointing today. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because I've had much better experiences here in the past. read more

I was too sleepy so I didn't get up to get here until 5:15pm on Sunday! They close at 6pm and after a bad experience somewhere else, I was almost reluctant to enter. What a PLEASANT surprise! I was greeted warmly even though it was packed! These ladies were working honey! Kathy was AMAZING! She polished my toes, listened to what I wanted, made sure I had something to drink and was just KIND. She was very nice and my nails are EVERYTHING! I'll absolutely be back! read more

I decided one afternoon recently it was about time I got my nails done. I have had this style done before at another salon, who did a completely different technique and the other salon did a much, much better job than they did here. I decided on this place because they're open super, duper late, which is accommodating to my schedule. There were a million nail techs there and a ton of customers, so I was seated immediately. I told the gal at the front desk I only needed a manicure, but they tried to finesse me into a pedicure chair - when I clarified, they tried to upsell me on a pedicure. I didn't need nor want one. I showed my nail tech a reference photo of what I wanted, including the nails I had done before. She gave some resistance to the length I wanted, but got to work. At first, she seemed patient and focused, but when she finally spoke to me she told me that this technique is very difficult and requires a lot of patience. Other nail techs would pass by and make comments about my nails. When I asked my tech what they were saying, she said they were commenting on how challenging a nude to black ombré is. This made me feel guilty for asking for this style. I can't remember the tech's name, but I wanna say it was Gigi or something like that. Once all was done, they tried to sell me on a pedicure again, to which I declined. Ultimately, I'm not happy with these nails for many reasons. Instead of a smooth ombré, I got an emo candy corn look - nude to grey to black, not a smooth transition at all. A nail popped off about 6 days later and several of my nails felt painful. I ended up just ripping them off. The place is clean, bright, with several televisions to space out to. They have all sorts of drinks, though I did see someone make a face at their margarita. I didn't get anything, nor do I think I would at a nail salon. I give this place a bonus star because of their hours and availability, but I don't think I'll be back. read more

I don't know why I haven't been here before! I've lived in the area for almost 7 years. Our upcoming schedule is packed & I only had time to squeeze in a nail appointment today during a lunch break because #wfh perks. I went knowing I needed a quick drive to & from. There wasn't a wait, they made it easy on me by me getting to write what I want which was nice to avoid any mishaps in communication, it never felt rushed and my nails/toes came out so nice! I am a short nail girl due for job reasons & breaking a nail huuuurts! Shoutout to the girls who can do it because I don't have it in me LOL. The Halloween nail design came out super cute. The nail tech & I shared a giggle after the first set of eyes she did. I was only away for an hour which was perfect & makes me want to come back due to the excellent service & distance! read more

Highly highly recommend I had June on my critters aka toes and Cathy on my nails at once I arrived at 6:30 they don't close until 9:30!!! Golden hours for people that work during the week. I showed up to another nail salon an hour before they closed and was turned away TERRIBLE. This placed rocked and prices weren't bad it was $85 for everything and I left a nice tip. I had not visited this shop in a while since my favorite lady stopped working there. However, I visited Oasis last night and now I wish I had not!!! I walked in maybe 6:45ish, was greeted, and asked what service I would like. I stated a pedicure and was walked to the chair. A lady began running the water, sat down and was ready to work. She didn't introduce herself so I asked her name and she said Amy. Amy began working on my left foot and then I felt a pinch on the toe next to the pinky toe. As I was about to ask her if she cut my toe, I hear her say, "Ohhhh". I knew then it was what I thought. I said, "Did you cut my toe?" She didn't reply and started to dab my toe with cotton. I look at my toe and now it is really bleeding, so much so the customer next to me said, "Ohhhh its bleeding, bleeding!!" I was upset but what made it worse was Amy proceeded with my next toe as if nothing happened. No apology, NOTHING!!! I immediately stopped the manager and said, "My toe is bleeding because she cut me!!" The manager looks and says, "Ohhhhh nooo!!" She says something to Amy in their native language and she walks to the back with Amy following. The manager returns with what appeared to be green antiseptic and as she is prepared to pour it on my toe she says, "It may sting a little!!" Still nothing from Amy as she stands watching. The manager cleans my toe, apologizes and Amy goes to sit down to continue the pedicure. Ummmm ... NO MAAM!!!! I let the manager know I wanted someone else because she is rough and she never apologized. The manager asked Nancy to come and finish. Well now Nancy is way too cautious. While I appreciate her being careful, I had to tell her that she can work like normal but I just didn't want to be cut. Nevertheless, Nancy finishes. Definitely not the quality of a pedicure that I like or desire. To top it off, as I am paying, not only did they charge the full price (which includes an additional $1.75 or $1.85 when paying with a card) but had the nerve to ask if I wanted to give a tip. The nerves!!! Yes, I have a tip - train Amy on providing better customer service (including apologies), offer compensation (it didn't have to be free because I came to pay for a service but a gesture of $ off) and definitely don't dare suggest a tip ever, especially when a customer has been cut!!) As Nancy finished the pedicure, she said, "See you next time!!" NO MAAM NANCY!! THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN!!! read more

The first time I went, I had a great experience. It was on a Saturday and they seated me for my pedicure right away. They took my time and let me sit there to wait while my toes dried. My mom on the other hand did not have a very good experience. Her nails were not up to par for the prize. She paid for them. The nail where uneven and very lumpy The second time I went was not that great of an experience. Granted I did go at 6:30 and they closed at seven. However, I was really rushed. They didn't allow me to sit there to wait for my dry so they got messed up twice the first time they fixed it. I don't think that's good customer service. I do think they are over priced for what your get. read more

Always love my nails every time I go in. The only thing this time for my appointment Yesterday. I asked for 1 coat funny bunny Opi and 1 coat bubble bath opi with white chrome. The lady that did my toes followed what I asked for and did the color of my toes beautiful. However the lady that did my hand did not do anything I asked for she did not even do polish on my fingers or the color I wanted. she decided for me that she was going to just do a pinky powder and chrome! No polish at all on my fingers which does not give the color I wanted or asked for I guess she was in a hurry and did it the faster route this was at 7 pm Then tells me it's better. I just wanted her to do what I asked for. 167 dollars for nails I didn't ask for that color I told her the exact polish I wanted and she did what she wanted for a faster process I wanted my nails to be the exact color of my toes I don't see what was so hard to do just wat i asked for. She also seemed like she was in a huge hurry and trying to speed through it all. Very disappointed. I always go here and always loved my nails. Never had a bad experience here until now. Very upsetting to spend that much money on nails and not get what you asked for at all. Very upsetting don't know if I will be returning after this. read more

First time going to this salon and had a great experience! Went in as a walk-in around 5:00pm and got set up with Lily. I had a full-set with design. Added up to $80, which is a great price for what I got done! Environment was very nice and the chairs were comfortable, they had a drink menu as well. Lily did amazing with my set! She had me out after an hour. They were so quick and I could tell she put a lot of effort into it! Hillary helped out drawing my ring finger design. They were both really sweet. Perfect nails for Valentines. Definitely would come again and recommended to my friends. Thank you ladies! read more

Great service, I don't have much experience with nail salons but I will make this a bi-weekly habit for myself. The technician took great car of me, and was very thorough with what she was doing. The drinks were mid, and felt like had I drank them faster, I definitely was going to catch that headache in the AM. The best part about this place is that they are open late. They close at 9:30 PM which is great for those with a busy schedule. read more

Today was my first time going to this nail salon and my experience here was excellent! At first, I didn't understand how their services work but the lady in the front explained to me step by step and it was very helpful. I also went in with barely any idea of the color I wanted for both mani and pedi so I took a long time picking the colors. The lady that did my manicure, Lee, helped me so much! The color she picked for me was way better than the one I had picked so I was even more happy about the end result. My pedicure lady was Helen, the foot massage and exfoliation part was so nice, my feet honestly feels baby soft right now lol! Overall I'm very pleased with my experience here today and I would definitely recommend friends here and would love to come back here again for myself as well! read more

I've been to this place 4 times and all the other times I had no issues with my nails and lived them. This last time I got a manicure with shellac as I type a lot for work. The nail technician pushed cuticles back and didn't polish down to the nail bed. I emailed and sent a photo and they said they would fix it. I get there and they refuse to fix it and said it's supposed to look like that. The search continues for a good nail salon. read more

I came here with my sister for a quick pedicure. We got seated fairly quickly. I know my tech's name was Van, but I don't remember the women that did my sisters pedicure. The women that did my sisters nails was really rough and threw her sponges and loofas in the tub. Which wasn't very nice or professional. She seemed annoyed. Van was nice, but she was also rough with my feet. She filed a few nails crooked. I asked her to make them straight, and she left a few still crooked. Both women scrubbed our feet for 1 minute and left a bunch of dead and dry skin. Overall not satisfied in the slightest with our pedicures. read more

Service requested surpassed my expectation and it's always high when I visit Oasis. The manager/owner not sure which, but she's normally the one I see in charge i unfortunately didn't catch her name because I normally request Tom, but wasn't in today. Nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed my visit today just like every other visit. Today I got a full set with a specific customization and I wasn't let down one bit. If you don't want people purchasing a $35-45 pedicure do not have it under your options. I'm sick of going in there telling y'all what I want and you try to talk me out of it and to purchase the higher pedicure. I know what I want before I walk in there. read more

Came in to get a Pedicure, and 1 acrylic toe. The lady who seems to be the manager here decided to take it upon herself to add a refill to a toe I did not ask to be refilled. When I sat down, I specifically said that I didn't want one, nor did I need one, she said you needed it. And proceeded to charge me for it. On top of that At the end of service, told me it was $5 extra to take off my Gel, and tried to charge me $17 for Gel replacement that I also didn't ask for. My suggestion, pay before you get sat, or she will add more fees to your bill without notice ! Totally unacceptable. read more

I went in for almond shape with French tip and got terrible service, they ID'd me three times ... I pulled the same id every time showing I'm over 21. They couldn't do the French tip and I ended up walking out with just a nude powder because everything was terrible. read more

It was my first time at Oasis, and definitely my last. The total price for a plain full set of acrylic nails was $55.75, which isn't bad at all, but for the work I received? Definitely not worth it. The nail salon was the closest with no wait time, so I decided to give them a try. Both my left middle finger, and index finger now look crooked because the nails are crooked. The nail polish that the nail technician put over the acrylic nail was messy, and lazily applied. The nail polish towards the bottom of my nails look terrible because she didn't clean it off. She also didn't apply nail polish to the sides on some of the nails. I didn't trust them to correct the mistake either as I made various comments about the shape of the nail and I still ended up with crooked nails, and a messy nail polish overlay. I'm extremely displeased with their service, and I do not recommend that anyone comes here. read more

I recently moved to this side of town and I've been searching for a new nail salon and now that salons are starting to open again, I decided to try this salon because of the reviews and I must say, I'm only halfway through my pedicure and it's the best pedicure I've ever experienced! The reviews did not disappoint! Plus side, it is only 2 minutes away from my apartment! The prices are more than fair, the staff are friendly and funny! I was immediately given a new mask to wear inside and asked if I needed a drink. The entire facility is SPOTLESS clean and everyone is taking the correct precautions. I'm not even 1/4 done with the services I came in for today and I couldn't help but write the review now! I will definitely be back and I will recommend this salon to everyone I know! Okay, so I am editing my review to express my overall experience. Hands down the BEST nail salon I have ever been to. If I ever move away, I would most definitely go out of my way to come to this location. As I was receiving my services, the staff greeted other clients as they walked in and it was quite obvious that most of the clientele were regulars, as the staff asked questions and caught up with them. It is extremely important to have such relationships with their clients! I almost felt as if I were in the comfort of my own home, surrounded by friends! All three technicians that served me paid attention to detail and made sure I was comfortable. I cannot express how friendly the staff are! It's unprofessional for a business to not be open during their advertised hours, regardless of whether clients have appointments. At 9:17 a.m., I was finally able to reach someone who informed me that the manager had been trying to contact me for two days because there were no trainees available for the time slots they themselves posted on the booking site. I checked my account just last night, and the appointment was still confirmed. No one ever attempted to contact me or cancel the booking. This experience was extremely unprofessional and disappointing coming from Sugaring NYC. I had recently canceled my membership with Hello Sugar and was considering returning as a client, but this experience only confirms I made the right decision to leave in the first place.

Nicole is the esthetician who runs her business inside of the Reserve Salon & Spa, which is what you will find when you pull up the address in google maps. This business is within the Towne Lake Shopping center square and Cypress Wax Spa is located on the second floor in Room # 4. There is a very friendly receptionist when you enter from the 2nd floor, and numbers are posted outside of the Rooms/Suites. I was 10 minutes late because it was a bit unclear where the actual spa was located , but it was not a stressful experience because everyone was so friendly and helpful. Anyway, the entire experience was better than I actually anticipated. Nicole's station is immaculate, organized, and clean, and she is clearly well educated in her field, utilizing first class products. It was the most painless experience I've ever had, and she employs a plethora of organic and natural oils throughout the entire process. For my wax she did a quick refresh over my bikini area using jasmine cleansers and lavender oils, and then she communicated ingredients in what she was using when as she applied the product. She used both soft and hard wax, and walked me through her process every step of the way. What I really appreciated was her telling me when I would expect a more intense sensation during the waxing and when to breathe out since it had been a while due to being traumatized a few months back. She was consistently gentle in her approach and skill. Her communication skills were excellent. She did upsell me during my wax, but her pricing is extremely reasonable and the results are amazing. I can't tell you how much of a difference it makes when your esthetician is well versed in her craft and takes true pleasure in educating her clientele during the process. I was in the hands of a true professional, and I even went in for letting her use a high-frequency tool post waxing to reduce the breakout in a few spots caused by an ingrown hairs. Bottom line: Nicole knows what she's doing. She is a highly emotionally intelligent professional, she reads her customers body language ,and is not there to herd people in and out. She is fully focused on you from start to finish, and I will be returning soon.

Honestly guys do what you want but I will never ever be coming back to this place at all. Nadia please learn when to speak and how to talk to people because your social skills are horrible. And she is super MID at doing eyebrows like she may do them once or twice pretty good but she is bound to mess your eyebrows up. Anyways guys take my words with a grain of salt!

The products they use don't leave dips in my nails and my nails are so protected that they survive at least a month of daily typing, furniture assembly, and playing with my energetic dog.
