I was lucky to find street parking right in front of the charming house renovated into a shop. The atmosphere itself is teeming with life and verdure. I was immediately greeted and welcomed into the space. Sabrina's customer service was on point and she was well-versed on the inventory and care when I asked about beginner friendly plants. Dream plant shop! As pretty as it is functional. Coming from out of town, it was so lovely to visit this shop. They have lots of indoor plants for sale and a garden in the back for outdoor plants. The Oasis Plant Shop is an adorable plant shop located in the Bishop Arts District. I was impressed by the diverse selection of plants they have to offer. Anyone acquainted with me will comprehend my passion for plants, especially succulents. When I entered this establishment, I was in plant heaven. I expected a weak selection of plants and overpricing, but it was exactly the opposite. I walked away with two beautiful succulents and a glitter dipped snake plant. Unfortunately, I had on six-inch heels during my visit so I was not able to explore the outdoor plants like I wanted to, due to the gravel ground, but I will definitely be back in the proper shoes. Such a cute little shop! I discovered Oasis through a friend because I needed some potting soil and they make their own premixed stuff that includes the perlite and all the other goodies you need. I ended up buying a few plants as well and their prices are very decent for being a small business. They have a lot of smaller, baby plants if you will, that are all priced under $10 and great if you are just starting out. I need to go back and ask them to help me pick out some dog friendly plants. :) If you are not familiar with the area, parking is an issue and you may not get a spot right in front of the store. If you purchase large plants they do have a little drive way you can pull into and load up everything. Will say, I wish they had more of a pot selection like @PlantbarVB. I've been searching all over town for cute pots with drainage holes. :( read more

Honestly, I haven't been out of my home during this entire pandemic. This weekend was my 1st outing and what better way than to get some plants. I'm a newer Plant Mom. I've only recently started hoarding plants this past November. I found the Oasis Plant Shop through IG, and it is such a charming place. It is a home that has been converted into a storefront. The shop is tucked away within the Bishop Arts District. Of course, you all know parking can be terrible in BAD, but the area the shop sits makes it relatively easy. There are signs visible to advise that you must have on a mask to enter. So just remember to keep one on hand. The shop is cozy and full of "influencer" type plants you see on social media such as the ever so popular Monstera. There are several designated rooms with plants. There is also a separate room where someone can assist you with potting your plants. As you walk through the home, you step out to the backyard, and there are more plants and succulents. I bought a plant here a couple of months ago and it didn't look super healthy at the time but thought I would give it a chance. The plant kept slowly dying and I have a green thumb. Anyway the plant ended up dying and I took it back to them. They told me it had mites and that's what killed it. Long story short they basically offered me nothing but to throw the plant out. If you're a plant shop you should stand behind your product. I will no longer shop here and make sure none of my friends do as well. HORRIBLE customer service. Love love love this place!! My only complaint is the lack of decent parking during busy times and the prices. A lot of these plants seem rather over priced when compared to other nurseries in the area. This is definitely a boutique plant shop. All of their plants have been individually taken care of. All the plants I have gotten there have been healthy. This is the benefit of buying local instead of big box chain stores. While I would not go here all the time for all of my plant needs it's definitely a cute place to explore and buy a gift or something special for yourself.
