I'm sure most of you are like me and keep a mental tally of what you are spending while shopping. Selection is on par with anything in the state outside Binny's and anything in Chicago. It puts any of the crappy beer/liquor stores in Carbondale to shame. Jolly Pumpkin, everything from Founders and Bell's, some rarer items from Mikeller, Black Xantus. I could name much of the selection, but it does not really matter. You will find something, and most everything that has distribution in the area can be found here. Maybe not the drop dead selection that can be found in Chicago, but really good none the less. Plenty of wine and whiskey as well. Service is top notch and friendly. They know their stuff, and are happy to strike up a conversation. They will help you carry everything to the car, and informed me this week (the last week in December) is %20 off all craft brews. For my bill that was over $25. Prices without the discount are just a tad high, but not bad at all, or maybe that is just the difference between prices in Southern Illinois and Champaign?
