Until today, we would have given this team 5 stars in most categories. However, when they came to…read moreclean the pond several weeks ago, there was leak at the connection of the pipe from the pump into the new UV light. We asked them to fix the leak, but Robert said, "We do not have plumbing supplies with us today, do not worry, we will fix it when we return to install the skimmer (that we had requested)." They had not actually tried the new UV light on the day of installation because they left before the new pond water had reached the pump level. Later that evening, when we turned on the pump connected to the new filter, the GFI blew. Every time we reset it it blew. We tried other electrical cords and other outlets with the same results. Quite simply the new UV filter was faulty. We contacted them to say the leak was so bad it sprayed over 2 inches of water out of the pond overnight. Below you can see the picture of the leak we sent to them. They did not come to fix it. We were frustrated so we actually fixed the leak at the coupling ourselves, but when we tried to plug in the UV filter again - it still blew the GFI. We finally unplugged the UV Filter and ran only the pump and the GFI never stopped with the pump alone. They appeared to be most reluctant to address our problem. While they did not say so, we felt like they believed we had somehow damaged the filter, which is quite absurd. Today they came and made the replacement. When we asked them about coming to do the skimmer they said they would not be back. They had only come today to replace the UV filter, thank us for our business over the last seven years, and tell us they were not returning. We were stunned. When I tried to open a conversation by saying, "Well I must have offended you somehow," (although I could not imagine how, given that I had paid them in good faith) they quietly made a disparaging sound and walked away. They clearly did not want to enter a conversation. Our pond is 4,445 gallons. They charged $1400 ($300 more than last year) for the clean out and $500 for the filter. By the time they addressed the faulty filter issue, the pond had already begun to show signs of algae development, thus rendering the clean-out ineffective). We may have been due compensation for their lack of response to my concerns, but we did not request it. I suppose they have done us a favor by not wishing to come back.

We had a tree fall on our house last summer. There was quite a bit of damage to the back deck porch…read moreand the porch overhang. Initially, I called another construction outfit, and after telling me they could do the job, and after many delays, they later said the job was too small for them. Then I came across Biilt. Biilt, took the job, and I couldn't be happier. During their inspection it was discovered that there was some rotted wood to the original overhang. The house is old, really old, so this didn't come as a surprise. The Biilt crew was able rebuild the entire overhang and at a reasonable price. Construction, roofing, even clean up, they did it all, and their staff were polite and willing to work with me though the project. Cody, Aaron and the rest of the Biilt team did a fantastic job. The deck and overhang look great now and will probably outlast the rest of the house. Solid professional construction. In the future, my first call for quality construction needs, will be to Biilt. And I'm sure they can do the same for you.

We had a master suite added on, including laundry, closet space, and a full bath. First and foremost - they were on budget and on time FOR EVERYTHING. I had heard so many horror stories from friends who had contract work done, and I was shocked at how smoothly everything went and how responsive everyone at BiiLT was. There of course were issues. There always are - but Brent was always there to walk us through what was going on and ensure things didn't get off pace. Were I to do any work like this again - I would call them first without looking anywhere else. We even had issues with a neighbor who was just a pain during the process. Brent intervened and just handled everything. And the addition? My only regret is not doing it sooner. It is beautiful. I love my new master suite. I have never had the opportunity to live in new construction, and 4 months into living in this room, I still love it!

The fireplace insert is in a huge stone fireplace and it puts out enough hot air to keep the whole place toasty. The old gas fireplace stove had been running sporadically. Mike came out to do a regular cleaning/service/safety check. He took the whole stove apart, cleaned all the parts and put em back together. This took over 2 hours and was included in the basic annual service charge. He even vacuumed the exterior of the fireplace, stove and hearth - that really please my wife. The company is straightforward and Mike has to be the best chiminey sweep ever.Thanks for taking the time to do a thorough job. TIP: They work Saturdays!

Called them for Chimney and Fire place inspection and to service gas logs…read more Received inspection report with photos of Chimney stack they are proposing repair work but no photos of interior inspection of chimney. And, more importantly, very little information concerning chimney condition and integrity of interior lining. Received proposal to Replace chimney Crown, Flashing, power wash and seal bricks. Estimated at a little over $4,000. The Technician that came to my home was polite and professional. I did watch as they worked -- cleaning fireplace, did not see them inspect interior of Chimney. Technician also showed me random photos from internet of Chimney stack (above roof) tops to explain issues with "crown" but did not show me pictures of my chimney. Then he went to truck and returned with tablet (ipad?) to have me sign and pay inspection bill. Said I would receive inspection report and a proposal for recommended work via e-mail. Did receive them. No contemplating recommendation -- proposed work.
