We ended up getting an entirely new door and they were so quick! Eli was great to work with. He explained everything to me and was not trying to pull a fast one considering I know nothing about garage doors. He gave me options and recommendations and provided me a great price. They did just pack up and leave without talking with us. Whenever we realized they were done the door didn't open. The guy who gave us the quote had to come out to tell us the new door was stressing out the motor and unscrewed our lightbulb and told us it would work that way. Great value and overall service.

This wasn't my case at all with Allied. To start off, quick turn around! Called yesterday to get my keypad reprogrammed when my dog poop scooper caused the key pad to lock out. The guy legit stood at my gate for 5 mins putting in the wrong code causing it to lock out thinking an intruder was trying to gain access to the property. Allied came out first thing today and got me reprogrammed. They also adjusted the gate to close properly. They saw that the motor had pulled away from the gate causing problems. They were able to weld it on the spot. Everything was done for an amazing price! Very honest and transparent. Thanks to AD and Abraham. Would definitely use again.

He was timely and professional, and answered all my questions and concerns. The bid was facilitated by Google Earth. The measurement's were spot on, and consistent with the other estimates. Their bid was competitive, and the company website was very informative. We share a fence with our neighbor, and shared the cost. We were contracted and invoiced separately which made payment seamless. Luis was the project manager for the job. His emails were professional and informative. He kept me up to date at every turn. The on-site contractors were respectful, courteous, and professional. The job site was completely cleaned after the 2-3 day project was completed. I was very pleased with their work from start to finish. They only charge you after the job has been completed, and inspected.

I also thought they were a local company, wanting to support a small business and they run ads to make you think that they are (which I fell for) but they are a national company. You get handed off from person to person throughout the process with no continuity of service, which should have been my first flag to go with someone else. This pattern continued when on the day of service a man and wife show up at my door. No company logo on their clothes or truck. They also didn't speak English, so when I open the door the man just said "fence" and waits for me to walk him to the fence. I had done the video walk-through during the quote process but no one showed it to the two-person fence crew to prepare them so he doesn't know what to do. He calls someone else at the company (not the account rep I had previously spoken with) and puts them on speaker to have them try and translate between us as I'm explaining the job to be done. The person on the phone doesn't understand because they can't see it, and the guy on site can't understand because of the language issue. The fence ends up being completed but not to what was agreed to prior in the quote process. I'm not thrilled but figure it's not the end of the world because they said during the initial quote that if the fence was shorter than expected or supplies not used they would refund it back. That was a complete lie. I've spent months calling trying to get it sorted out and corrected. It takes weeks to get a return phone call from them. Then, they just stopped answering or returning calls altogether. I saw another review that said their phone system is set up to not answer calls they don't want to answer, and this is 100% true. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with for a service company.

(the expected labor cost should be between $150 to -$350) The Liftmaster 6580L he charged $1,440 (Amazon $486.68 plus a new rail. Expect to pay between $650 and $900 total..Professional labor $200 to $400. Turnkey installation $650 to $800 is standard. The 8' rail is listed at $115 to $130. THE TOTAL CHARGE FOR THE NEW OPERATOR WAS $1,440 (can you say RIPOFF and totally OVER CHARGED) My total bill for 1 opener and two sets of springs plus $375 to service all three garage doors was $3,305. I have called the company 4 times to discuss the bill. I HAVE LEFT WOOD FOR DON TO CALL ME 3 times - said he was on the road and would call me. I thought I was dealing with Fix N Go but when I made out the check it was to Garage Door Repair Service so I guess they farm it out without my knowledge and the other company can charge what ever they want or can get away with. This does not say much for Fix N Go's reputation, If they even cared - with the lack of professional integrity and shoddy service I DEFINITELY WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY -it is such a shame that businesses today don't have reliable customer services and stand behind their work.

After several phone calls and emails to them, they sent a person out when we were unable to close the gate or latches but all he did was hammer the gate and paint the misaligned latch. We struggled to open and close the gates and latches this past year. The situation continued to get worse until the gate was once again unable to close. Tim said that he would charge $220 to have someone come out to fix the latches but was very rude and made excuses that the problem would probably happen again because of weather conditions and ground shifts. These were pricey gates and latches that they recommended to avoid this type of problem. Our previous gates and latches lasted 23 years through all types of weather. I am not going to use Tim's fences with his exorbitant charge for fixing a problem that he was hired to do properly in the first place. I can not recommend this company based on their poor customer service. Original Review 2023 When my wooden gates became warped, it was a struggle for me to open and close them. I knew I needed to replace them as well as some shared fencing along the sides of the house. While all wood fences look fairly nice to me when they are first erected, I noticed that many seem to have problems after a short time. I had contracted with Tim's Fences seven years ago to install a wrought iron fence around my dogs' play yard. It still looks beautiful so I knew that I wanted Tim's fences to install my wooden gates since quality is important to me. Trenton Talley came out to give me an estimate and I explained that having easy to use latches and gates that would not warp were my prime considerations. Trenton recommended reinforced metal framed gates as well as attractive and sturdy steel hardware. The workers who installed the fence and gates did an excellent job. They worked efficiently all day and cleaned up the area after the job was finished. I am very pleased with the look of the cedar fence as well as the ease of using the gate latches. I definitely recommend Tim's Fences for quality fencing.
