CKBB has distributed over 4.8 million books to children in the area since 2016. While they do have a small team of employees they also have a lot of volunteers. I personally am very excited to volunteer here in the future. They have about 20 drop box locations in addition to their main location where the books are housed. I dropped off our donation of 425 books and they let me come inside and take a little look around and get a picture. They do have specific hours for drop off but if you call when you get there they will come out and take your donation.

Both children attended the infant room. The women were great in the transition of going back to work and establishing and following the babies schedules. Moving through the classrooms, we landed within the Montessori Program. I cannot say enough good things about the Montessori Program. The teachers are wonderful and have thoroughly prepared both kids for kindergarten. The teachers and staff genuinely care for the children and want to see them develop and grow. The center is peanut free and very good with working with food allergies. The location is right off of 90 and conveniently located too. When looking for childcare, this center should definitely be toured and considered.

Linwood has one of the best and cleanest beaches in the area. There are many amenities including a park, basketball courts, tennis courts, shuffleboard, etc. The park is home to a little store called The Stand which sells ice cream,shakes, sundaes, penny candy, lunch items, and lotsof other great treats. New to Linwood is the new museum/gift shop and rooms to rent above The Stand. Many cottages are available to rent during the summer and fall months. Linwood has several year round residents, but overall, this is a sleepy summer getaway. Linwood continues to offer family programming throughout the park. Linwood also has Sunday School for all ages and has a church service in the Tabernacle every Sunday during the summer season. Church services are open to everyone, you may attend church and not pay for entry into the park. (check with the gate for details). All activities are free unless noted (the only activity that I know of that has a fee is beach yoga. Please check the Linwood Park Company webpage for more details and for info regarding rates. I'm not sure if it's public knowledge, but I'm almost certain that you can enter Linwood and stay for an hour and a half and not have to pay anything.

I asked the employee who received my donation to return them to me. He told me that he was in the process of moving down the street to the organization's new location, that the flash drives were packed away in one of the boxes used for the move, and that he would call me as soon as came across them while unpacking. After waiting two weeks to hear from the employee, I finally called his boss. She told me that the flash drives had been discarded. I asked her what she meant by discarded. She would not elaborate. I think that I have been lied to. End of Story

The teachers have been wonderful, only downside is that two of her teachers have turned over, but the new teachers they've brought in are great replacements. Primrose has very high standards for their teachers, which we appreciate. We also like the philosophy of balanced learning, and a structured daily schedule. We're confident our daughter will be well prepared for kindergarten thanks to the learning plans and environment Primrose creates. Additionally, the building and classrooms are very clean (I toured other places that were not as impressive). We also love that Primrose provides lunch and snacks! Not having to prepare food in the morning or night before is a fantastic perk.

They couldn't even tell us to our faces what they were doing. She almost immediately stopped biting upon starting at another local school. This place has a fair amount of turnover in staff, many of whom have minimal experience in child care relative to the other comparable local schools. I have a lot of other things I could say about this place but simply put - I don't recommend it.
