My friends and I came out to the beach for my birthday and I wanted to give axe throwing a try. We booked our tickets and popped over to Manteo. This location is inside of a trampoline park. The gentleman who got us set up and gave instructions was great. Very funny, helpful and friendly. The set up was a bit odd as it was inside a gate near the dining area so while people were sitting there they were right there watching us. The experience was super fun, but the boards were pretty beat up so it did make it hard to really get the axe to stick. It was still a great time! read more

I came here with a group of friends and we had a blast! We were looking for something fun to do on our last night of vacation and fortunately we found this spot. It shares a space with a trampoline park and arcade. The girl who was working was very sweet and went over axe throwing technique and safety with us. She also sprayed down the boards with water for us after our first round. We did the one hour option and it felt like it was plenty of time. My only complaint is that a lot of the boards were pretty chewed up and looked like they should be replaced. I think that may have hindered some of the axes sticking at some point. OBX Axe throwing was a great family night that I wasn't expecting. We were looking for some family entertainment and didn't want to do a cliche evening of putt putt or a movie. An hour of axe throwing flew by, you can keep score on chalk boards and we turned the hour into a fun competition. The instructor was informative and help correct our throwing. This entire experience was so fun. My boyfriend and I decided to do this our last day in town. We've never tried it before and the staff was so friendly, giving us pointers and encouraging us even if we were horrible at first. Rates are very reasonable and it was so much fun.
