Went here after trying to go to a neighboring bakery because the bakery was sold out and packed to the brim. The workers here were personable and happy. The service was super quick and the food was exactly what I wanted to start the morning off. Got a sausage egg and cheese bagel and everything was cooked just right with all the buttery goodness you could ask for. Staff was super friendly, and the place itself is a little hole-in-the-wall that cranks out sandwiches like it's their full-time job (because, well... it is). This place was busy! We stopped here to get sandwiches to take with us to the beach. They offer breakfast sandwiches on bagel or bread, lunch wraps, paninis, classic sandwiches, grinders, grilled sandwiches, burgers & sides. We were nine people in our party & we got a variety of lunch sandwiches: Italian, Turkey, Roast Beef, & Ham & Cheese. We also got a bunch of chips & drinks. The bread was good and the sandwiches were decent enough but no one was wowed. I was personally disappointed there were no hots or oil & vinegar on the Italian. They use paper bags, which I appreciate for the environment but the bags were super thin & ripped right away. They also didn't wrap the sandwiches tight enough and they spilled all over the thin paper bag that ripped. This is how we had to deal with our to-go order at the beach so you can imagine the fun that ensued. Minor but also not. It's not fun to have your food a mess & falling out of the wrapper & the bag and I sure hope they fix this moving forward. We did not have any ice cream but they did have a large selection. I got food poisoning from this sandwich shop, would not recommend at all even if your desperate for food. I came here with my family because everything else nearby was closed due to it being Easter. I was extremely hungry and ate almost my entire grilled veggie sandwich before I looked to noticed the mushrooms had a weird tint and look to them. My brother in law and sister refused to eat their chicken sandwiches after one bite because it "didn't taste right". I was the only one who ate from this place and the only one who got sick. On top of this the sandwiches were not cheap. read more
