We had booked online and when I went to cancel the appointment online a month out and were not able to cancel online due to how it is setup. I called the salon a month prior to the appointment and the receptionist said she can cancel the appointment no problem and she needed to do it. Now here we are a month later and the appointment was not cancelled and they are charging me 50 percent of the haircut because the salon receptionist did not cancel it. I spoke to Leilani at the front desk and the response is sorry I don't have record of a cancellation. Now because one of their employees did not follow through I got charged and the salon did nothing to correct it. If you can't cancel your appointments online and the employees aren't doing it and automatically charging your card for missed appointments its a loose loose for the customer. But the salon is making money off those appointments not getting cancelled. So sad because the prior experience with the hairdresser was great. As I mentioned to Leilani on the phone today my husband came in on Feb 4th with my daughter because when I made the original reservation I messed up and made it for March 4th. My husband took my daughter on Feb 4th and when he said the date was wrong he personally cancelled the reservation in the salon with the receptionist. It was a girl on the younger side with dark hair and tattoos. Working on Feb 4th. After he told me I had the wrong month I called the salon to make sure it was cancelled on the same day Feb 4th after I realized I couldn't confirm the cancellation online. The receptionist said she had to cancel it and my husband had already told her. The two of us both confirmed it was cancelled and neither one of us got her name plus it's been a month now.

My nails were done by NanciKim, and she is truly amazing--very detailed, patient, and skilled. My SNS came out perfectly shaped, smooth, and long-lasting. You can tell she really cares about her work and takes pride in every detail. Helen did my gel pedicure, and it was just as wonderful. She was gentle, thorough, and made sure everything was super clean and relaxing. My feet feel refreshed, and the gel polish looks flawless. The salon is clean, professional, and welcoming, but what really makes the difference is the talent and care from people like NanciKim and Helen. I had a very upsetting experience at VIP Nails involving an employee named Julie and others. Everything was accepted without issue at the time, and I left on good terms. After I got into my car, Julie suddenly came outside, knocked on my window, and then opened my driver's door. I was physically grabbed and pulled at by both arms while multiple staff members surrounded me and began yelling. A man identifying himself as a manager did not de-escalate the situation. If there was an issue with the gift certificate, it should have been handled calmly inside the salon--not escalated outside in a way that felt aggressive and unsafe. I filed a police report and was sore the next day from being physically handled. No customer should ever be treated this way. This was my first and last visit.

I found my fave pedi girl, Jocelynn. She's kind and funny! I had my toes done by Jocelynn over two months ago with a gel chrome color. They looked so good up until my next pedicure today. Today I finally filled up my stamp card, it was my 10th visit today with 50% off my services so I got the peppermint pedicure with a 15 min. Hot stone massage but changed out the peppermint for orange. Then after my builder gel fill with Jenny, I had an incredible paraffin treatment for my dry hands. Pure bliss! They have a current special going on if it's your bday you get 20% and if you bring a friend you get 10%! Booked my hubby for a pedi treat next nail appt. Bring AirPods if you don't like noise. The staff do chat in Vietnamese and I could understand how that can be annoying if you're trying to relax. AirPods work like a charm for me!

We were seated shortly after, and the massage chairs were very clean and comfortable. All the massage button options worked perfectly as well. Tuan was my nail tech today and was also our bartender. He's funny and awesome. We all enjoyed our spa pedis, the lovely service, and the appeal of it all. Everything looked brand new, was very clean, and the salon is well maintained. I love the beautiful emerald green velvet seating area to the left when you walk in. The salon and the services offered were thoughtfully designed- a clean appeal with pops of emerald green and simple but catchy wall decor and a beautiful and eye-catching display of nail polishes.
