Met some people at breakfast and they recommended this outdoor market. Open on Saturdays until 2 pm there's plenty of free parking. This is a nice market with rows and rows of locally grown produce, baked goods, crafts and nik naks. A lot of nice hand made items too. It's quite large, easy to get around. You can walk the whole market in an hour or two. I love supporting local small businesses. We had a good time buying honey, hand made candles and some unusual Florida Gator gear.

Super cute farmers market with many vendors ranging from veggies, food, and art. Parking is free and there is plenty. I bought donuts, lemonade, baba ganoush, and pickles. Enjoyed my visit. It's not a very large market and can easily be enjoyed in under an hour.

Really enjoyed the homemade kombucha and kefir booth. Wish there was more organic or no pesticide produce.

    Nice space and layout.

How are there not more reviews for this place? It's wonderful! Lots of organic food vendors, plenty of vegan and vegetarian items, including bakery, several pet vendors and plenty of artisans. Wonderful space and vibe! Sign says they are now open Wednesday nights too. I wish them much success! Great job. Simply fabulous.

This is one of the better markets I've shopped at in town. They certainly have a wide variety of vendors every week. From my fave chip man Bonjoe to homemade (sometimes healthy) treats for yourself or your furry friend. Their hours of 9-2 are ideal and some vendors stay late if needed. Ohhh, the parking! With all the construction it may be problematic so be patient and drive around the square a few times. ;)

Ask the Community - Ocala Downtown Market

I am an artist in McIntosh. I'm looking for a spot to rent on weekends to sell handmade arts and crafts. This looks like the right place for me. Are they open Sat and Sun Easter weekend?

Hey Susan! This is every Saturday morning and is mostly food related items.

One of our favorite farmers markets…read more We first came here by accident a year or so ago. We were on our way to family in Ocala early in the morn when i knew it was time to stop for some coffee(the wife doesnt do wel without her java). I did a quick search for a spot, and saw a dunkin nearby. I exited the highway and headed that way. as I got closer I grinned. I had never been to the Villages. My gal didn't know what that was so as we pulled up and parked she said, "what town is this". I just played dumb. We walked into the Brownwood square and I had to tell her. She really didn't know much about the Villages so I filled her in. for my first impression it was great. The farmers market wrapped around the square and trickled out to the side streets some as well. They had the usual thing you would hope for like produce and pieces of art made by locals. But it had other things you dotn see often like some more quirky artisans, multiple flower and plant booths, empanadas, and the one that hooked me, a both that had all kind of mushrooms to eat. We swing by here about once a month for the farmers market, and enjoy it every time.

I went down to the market today and it's always enjoyable. I picked up my weekly supply pierogies…read moreand Kabasa Also somehow some bialys fell into a bag going to the farmers market is very nice to pick up some fresh produce some good cheese and some good bread
