Maybe we got lucky this morning as the wait for our breakfast and pancakes were pretty quick as compared to what others have noted. Considering the place was pretty busy at 9am on a Sunday. We were told that there was usually a 15-20 minute wait with how they make the pancakes, but we were not in a rush anyway, and really needed coffee first to wake up after rushing due to an emergency phone call at 5am to get to the rehab center where my mom is at close by. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes, Oh, and these are not your granddad's pancakes. These are pancakes on steroids! Delicious and fresh these monsters are huge and more than enough to fill your belly. They have an all you can eat option too! That's nuts! I was ready to be rolled out of the place after my one serving. Our server was terrific, friendly, funny, and attentive. Filled our coffees a few times, brought us ice water, and made our morning a bit more cheerful under the circumstances. Our meals were prepared just right, but those pancakes are the stars here. We ordered the 2-2-2 combo - 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 strips of bacon or sausage, $15, and worth it. As the owners had more of a farm stand and eatery before moving to this spot they have kept that cozy and quaint vibe with the decor and assorted items and jellies for sale in racks by the entrance. Clean bathrooms. The dining area offers plenty of seating with booths and smaller tables, clean and bright. Many breakfast, brunch, and lunch items to choose from. Located in a corner spot at the end of a strip mall which has a Planet Fitness and near Walmart.

The service was great! The food delicious. I highly recommend the pineapple upside down hotcakes! We all enjoyed the breakfast.

This is an off the beat location at the end of a strip mall with an unusual decor and layout. The staff were super friendly and the food was great and the place was packed with folks waiting at the door. The wait time was excruciating as it is unlikely they are prepared for a full slam staff and kitchen-wise. But we would definitely return if we visit Ocala again.

The food was freshly made and tasted just like it was made at home. The service was so fast and kind. Very attentive and smiles all over. The atmosphere felt like a little quaint farmers market with friendly smiles, loved the ambiance. This was my first time and looking forward to come back soon.

This was the remnants of my Strawberry Cream Cheese pancake and Bacon!

THIS is the breakfast place we have been looking for! As soon as we walked into this pleasant and comfortable cafe we were greeted by multiple staff and told to sit anywhere we would like. The restaurant was clean with nicely spaced tables and booths. The menu has a great variety of breakfast sweets, eggs, bowls, and meats and a lunch menu that has just as many options! It is SO hard to choose what to order! We WILL be going back soon! I had the Strawberry Cream Cheese pancake with a side of bacon and my husband had the 2 eggs, 2 bacon, and 2 French Toast. We were both sad to take the last bite of our meals as they were so good! This place was amazing! We also bought two jars of jam to bring home as a treat!

The food here is solid. The big fluffy hotcakes are a must. I got the BLT with a couple eggs on it which was HUGE. Fresh tomatoes and veggies. The bacon could've been cooked longer (I'm partial to crispy bacon on my BLTs). I still give the food 4-4.5 stars. We will come back as there are other menu items I want to try. Only thing I would caution folks on is that they make their food from scratch so they even have a note on each table to let patrons know that during busy times, it could take an hour to get your food. We came at 10am on a Saturday morning during peak time. The hostess said to please be patient and the server will come soon. Took about 10-15mins for server to come by which was no biggie. Server was great and helped us figure out what to get. Food came out about 30-35mins later. All in all, a good experience. Filling food with other menu items we want to try and the restaurant itself seems like they're still trying to get into their groove, but they do a good job even so. They also have some jellies, honey, and other items for sale up front. Give this place a shot- I bet you'll like it!

    Gyro with Greek salad

This was hands down the best gyro and Greek salad ever! The meat was so tasty and tender and the pita bread was grilled to perfection. The tomatoes and lettuce were fresh and the tzatziki was perfect. It added so much flavor but didn't overwhelm the sandwich. Portions are huge but I have to say I ate my whole sandwich it was that good. Lovely waitress and very enjoyable atmosphere. I rarely leave reviews but this was exception. May come to Ocala just to eat here!!!

    Hot cakes

I visited the area for work and decided to stop for an early lunch. I got the hot cakes, eggs, and a meat combo, and I added an order of buttered toast. The food was really good, and I loved the hot cakes! My server was very sweet and friendly, but service was kind of slow. They only had 2 servers for over 10 occupied tables and, as far as I could tell, they were responsible for everything (i.e., taking orders, running the food and drinks, and bussing the tables). Given that, I'm still rating it 5 stars and will be back if I'm in the area.

The atmosphere is welcoming and calm. The employees treat you like family. The food is phenomenal! The problem for me is that the food is so good I keep coming back!

This is one of my favorite things to do in Ocala. The market is only open on Saturdays from 9am-2pm, rain or shine. Other events are held here all other dates and times. I cannot stand the heat so I appreciate that the market is under a covered pavilion. There are some vendors that set up outside the pavilion because there is not enough room. The parking is free as well, with plenty of options in the surrounding areas. You don't have to walk far either. The market is extensive enough that you could easily spend 2-3 hours there. There are several food trucks you can purchase food and drinks from. Sipping Grounds is my favorite! They offer snacks, as well as coffee drinks, beer, wine, and mimosas. There are a variety of vendors, with many being staples each time I have visited. I usually stop by and purchase from the same vendors. There are several vendors selling vegetables and fruits, a farmer who sells cheese he makes, a seafood vendor, a vendor who sells dips, spices, and seasonings, another vendor sells oils & vinegars, bakery items are sold by several vendors, and usually there are a couple of vendors specializing in doggie treats. You can also sample a lot of these items, which is awesome. Of course there are vendors who sell jewelry, artwork, decor, pottery, etc.

But don't let the farm talk fool you. There's serious variety here: grass fed beef suppliers, fresh eggs, wellness drink makers pushing sea moss and charcoal, potters working live, pottery, kitchen gear, clothing, and trinkets galore. It's a whole ecosystem of real farm life. I felt like I'd stepped directly into that world without actually being at a farm, which was wonderful until I realized my outfit didn't get the memo in my very short mini dress. Cute as can be, but everyone else was in jeans and tees. I stuck out like a designer purse at a livestock auction. Next time I'm definitely dressing down to blend in. The market is bustling and packed with options. You can skip Publix entirely and do all your grocery shopping here, just cheaper. Everything's cheaper. This is legitimately as close to farm life as you can get without actually stepping in cow manure. ... trust me, one wrong step in a mini dress and you will be fishing a high heel out of a very fresh cow pie.
