When the truck wouldn't start, she recommended Ken's Repair Service in Reynolds IN. You never know what kind of repair service you're going to get when you breakdown on a busy interstate and my wife and I were a bit leery. But I could not be more happier with service that Ken's Repair Service provided. Ken looked at the truck and determined the fuel pump was the problem. He even added a little bit of gas just to be sure we were not out of gas. He dropped us off at a nearby Dairy Queen and went back with his tow truck to pick up my truck. It was early afternoon and Ken was able to locate a replacement pump. This was in addition to everything else he had going on that afternoon. It was delivered later that afternoon to his shop. We spent the evening with our daughter in Indianapolis. On Sunday morning, Ken replaced the broken pump and we were heading back to Chicago by noon. The towing charge, labor and parts were reasonably priced. They have been servicing my mothers car for years. I drove the car a few days ago and discovered…read morethe brakes were mushy along with metal on metal brake noise. Went to Mike's to see how soon the could get to her car for a brake inspection/repair. About a week was the response. I replied pencil the car in and if I find somewhere to get it done earlier, I would call and cancel. The response was "I don't do business that way" I left. I made arrangements for the following day with a national auto repair shop. After the inspected the car, they said the rear rotors and calipers were so rusted they were inoperable and the front were 90% gone. The replaced the brakes. My concern was with Mike's safety inspection and servicing procedures - it appears the brake system is not part of that process.
