Went to Mike's to see how soon the could get to her car for a brake inspection/repair. About a week was the response. I replied pencil the car in and if I find somewhere to get it done earlier, I would call and cancel. The response was "I don't do business that way" I left. I made arrangements for the following day with a national auto repair shop. After the inspected the car, they said the rear rotors and calipers were so rusted they were inoperable and the front were 90% gone. The replaced the brakes. My concern was with Mike's safety inspection and servicing procedures - it appears the brake system is not part of that process.

Ethan was a pleasure to work with and got each of us on board with the Ford App. Also, we first wondered why they did not attach my front license plate (required in IL). As it turns out, while there are pre-drilled indentions on the front bumper, most Ranger owners (maybe all trucks) prefer a non-invasive work around. Ethan offered to attach but suspected that we would not want them to do that. I found the work-around that can only be done by the owner. See the ranger6g forum.
