Baby rcvg his 1st swim lesson award

My 1yr grandson had a swim lesson today at ocaquatics. Amazing experience from the moment we walked in and we were greeted by a warm smiling lady who directed us around the area. The another tall gentlemen by the pool entry way invited us in for the class. The instructed was kind and gentle and allowed my "momentarily" shy grandson to warm up to her. Lessons began and I left with a crying baby because he didn't want to leave. This place was AMAZING!!!! The staff... left me blown away, incredibly.

    My darling.

Angela makes it so fun, she is so patience with my son and taught him so much about water safety and swimming.

My boss recommended this club as they work with children with special needs. That was so comforting to know. But when she told me where this place was located, I almost changed my mind. I live in Homestead and the club is located all the way right across the Tamiami Airport. But my son needed exercise and he needed to learn how to swim. The club is located in one of the warehouses on 120th. Its two floors, but not very big. The front of the club is the office area, waiting area, and changing area. It's air conditioned. There is one restroom inside and a shower outside next to the pool. Outside the office is a winding staircase that is blocked off to keep the parents from sitting on them. There is also a gate so that only students can enter the pool. There's not a lot of comfortable sitting area but the place always looks clean. The pool is a normal size pool and its about 4 ft. deep. The pool area is decorated with flags and their safety tools are visible and accessible against the wall. The pool are divided into 3 lanes. Each lane host a maximum of 3 students. On a slow day, my son would get one on one lessons. From what I was told, the two owners/instructors are both Cuban Olympic Swimming Athletes back in the days. So they are legit instructors. They do not speak a lot of English but they had been very pleasant and accommodating to myself and my son. They do have younger, Bilingual instructors there (one is Coach Yesid) and that is how we would communicate with the Coach Carlos. The Coaches are no joke, and they mean business. This type of structure is what my son needs and I truly appreciate that. My son could only go to class once a week and he learned to swim in no time...from freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. And the best part is the confidence! We enjoy being part of this swimming club and highly recommend it.

It's located in the warehouse area across the street from Tamiami Airport, along 120th street. They offer infant rescue survival classes from ages 9 months to 3 years, school aged kids lessons, a swim team training and classes for kids with special needs. While looking for swimming lessons for my kid I found a couple in this area, but what sold me on M&M was the small class size and the professionalism of the coaches. The thought of my kid being in a class taught by an 18 year old with 5 other children just didn't sit well with me. This place has a max of 3 per coach. There are 4 changing rooms and a shower for rinsing off, as well as a couple of benches in the lobby area for parents to sit and watch their kids.

There is no price on peace of mind and it is good to know my child knows what to do should he fall in the pool. Huge thanks to instructors Andy and Noelia. They both were so kind and patient with my kids, but also pushed them to learn and develop their skills. My kids couldn't wait for their lessons with them. I would definitely recommend Little Swimmers!

Little swimmers in Killian, consists of two pools, covered waiting area for parents and hut which serves like an office. They are open Monday - Friday 9:00-7:30pm My husband agreed to take both babies as I was told they would cry for the first few days inconsolably. It would be too much pain and torture for me so I decide to show up after class everyday. The survival swimming class is two weeks in a row program. The seating area for parents is distance so you can still see your child. They recommend you stay away so you don't become a distraction during the class. Outcome: I don't know how they did it but it's magical. They both learned to swim to the edge. They are still too young to learn technique but I feel a little more comfortable now especially as we are approaching the summer. The instructors (Jaylen & Leandra) were both very nice & sweet. They offer you the opportunity to get in the water on the last day of class to show you, so you could keep practicing. We definitely plan to continue bringing them every year for a refresher before the summer! We definitely thought thought this was a great investment as we have a pool at home. Although it's gated it's always important take alternative security measures. The only reason I didn't give this place an overall 5 stars was because I feel they could do a better job in making the facility look nicer. I have been to other swimming schools in miami and the facility is a lot nicer looking. Otherwise service was 5 stars.

One section of the play area is designed to look like a pirate's ship. My kids, aged 10, 7, and 7 months had a blast!!! The water is low enough in some areas where my baby was able to sit and splash in the water. My big kids had a great time playing in the play area and then running to the pool to jump off of the diving board and swim some laps. If you get lucky (or go early enough), you can snag an umbrella and sit in the provided loungers. I was able to share an umbrella with another small family.
