Their food is so delicious, their ingredients are fresh & our guests are still commenting on their menu over a month later. To note a few of my favorites were their buffalo chicken puff pastry bites, sweet & sour meatballs, chicken salad & pulled pork sliders, potato salad & Mac & cheese. Martha made the most delicious wedding cake ever - I'm from the UK & wanted to pay homage to my favorite British cake, the Victoria sponge. When my program manager told me of Happy Chickens Friday lunch special, " crab cake Friday" , I had to have this popular lunch special: 5 ounce Crab cake sandwich on house made griddled bun (lettuce and tomato) with ramekin of homemade tartar sauce and house made chips $15.00 . Crab meat was back fin crab meat tasting of a combination of jumbo and special crab meat and flavored just right. Loving the Walton family recipe. I am a HUGE fan of HCB! They have a diverse selection and I've had several of their amazing creations but I most recently ordered their Cuban and ... IT IS TO DIE FOR!! This incredible grilled sandwich is on their in-house made bread (yum!) overflows with ham and toasted pork, creamy Swiss cheese, yellow mustard and (my fav) pickles! Horrible experience! To order you have to stand between a car and stinking trash cans in the sweltering heat COVERED in swarming flies. Literally inches from you on each side. Another car pulled up behind that car while I waited on my order. Shocked that it fit in this tiny driveway. Employee was pleasant and recommended the new Cuban sandwich so....... I ordered a Cuban sandwich. Well..... I thought that I ordered a Cuban sandwich. Instead For $9 I received a small sandwich on Italian bread! It gets worse....very little grocery store lunch meat (had the scalloped edges, you know the kind) mushy sour pickles with so much cheap yellow mustard that it squirted out everywhere when I took a bite. I was really hungry but it was so disgusting that I stopped at the gas station and threw it in the trash. It was an expensive Italian mustard sandwich with a hint of grocery store lunch meat. Everyone knows that the herbs in Italian bread with the bucket of yellow mustard and sour pickles will taste bitter. You can't call it a Cuban sandwich without Cuban bread! Never again! If you want an authentic Cuban sandwich go to My Sister's Fault in Milford, DE. Great prices, great food and you won't be served next to the trash. read more

A delightful little cafe. It is a little difficult to find but once you find them you won't be disappointed. Their freshly made deserts are delicious and their chicken salad is delish!!! The staff is friendly and very easy to work with. read more

My wife got me a birthday cake from this bakery, and while pricey, it was pretty good. I asked for chocolate/orange cake. It was not a usual offering, and they did a nice job. The cake was moist and delicious. For her birthday, she chose German Chocolate Cake, and I figured she was worth it. She is. They proved not up to the task. I called and they assured me that since it was a usual menu item, it would be no problem. We arranged a 2PM Saturday pickup. They called me on Saturday morning to tell me that the cake would be ready early. I said "Great!", and we set out on the 32 mile drive. Upon arrival, Martha assured me that the refrigerated cake would keep well. To our dismay, the cake itself proved to be dry, as if they used previously baked frozen cake, covered it with chocolate fudge frosting, with smattering of coconut frosting on top. There was only a thin layer of chocolate filling, no coconut/pecan custard at all. All in all, I would have been better off purchasing a cake at Safeway, or making one myself from a box mix. We will not go back. read more

Big fan of happy chicken bakery! The cafe has a cute courtyard in the summer and they're at the local market on the weekends!
