I went here for the gem and mineral show and had a blast. Great vendors, reasonable admission ($2…read morefor adults, kids = free), and a concession stand with plenty of seating. It would have been nice to see more signs outside directing me to the appropriate parking lot, tho. I ended up walking a country mile to get into the venue. Also, I don't know where this was advertised, but I didn't hear about it until the morning of the event, from a friend who was already on their way. Maybe some more PR would be helpful. And, even tho I didn't expect better from Klamath Falls, it would have been nice to see at least a single item on the concession menu that a gluten-free vegan could eat. I guess you can't win em all. All I know is that I'm thrilled with the stones I was able to find, and I can't wait to go to another event like this!

With a lot of handicapped and elderly attending the bottom row in the grandstands should be for handicapped and elderly only. Also during the Martina McBride concert a number of people in the grandstands left their seats and crowded at the railing overlooking the party zone, blocking the view of everyone behind them.More attention to clearing these individuals from that area needs to be addressed. The fridge was handy as there were many grocery stores to buy snacks and drinks. We used the indoor hot tub and pool during our visit. Both were great! The towels were fully stocked and the pool and hot tub were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was great. The staff worked very hard to keep the food stocked when the breakfast rush arrived. My only complaint is the elevators. We took the stairs most of the time because the elevators would shake and seemed to pause for a few minutes before finally settling on the second floor to open the doors. At first we called the first elevator (on the left) "sketchy" after a few uses. We then revised the nickname to "sketchy 1" after using the elevator to the right, which we fondly named "sketchy 2." Both elevators were a little scary so we just used the stairs. Other than that we had a wonderful time at this Holiday Inn Express.

Can't say enough good things about Cynthia! I don't know if she's the manager, the night manager,…read moreor what, but she is absolutely the best. And if she's not the manager or the night manager, she should be! I booked this hotel on my way through Oregon through the IHG app. I like the IHG group of hotels and I had no issues with this hotel it's exactly what you would expect from IHG hotels and Holiday Inn Express. But will really set this place apart was, again, Cynthia! When I showed up she was friendly and courteous. There were other people waiting to check in and she handled all of our tasks professionally and deftly, I wasn't waiting for very long! Then, there was an issue with my room and Cynthia was able to accommodate me getting into a different room. Then I made a mistake with my key card and Cynthia helped me out with the most wonderful attitude. And finally helped me get settled into my room for the night. Checking into hotel can be stressful, especially when there's something that goes wrong, and especially when you make a mistake with misplacing your key card. Cynthia took all the stress out of that situation and really helped me out. The breakfast in the morning was a little limited, but the server was very friendly and helpful! So again, this hotel is great, but the star of the show here is definitely Cynthia!

I'm a little uncomfortable with the Native clothing, tools, cultural and personal items. How did the Favell come into possession of these things? The arrowhead collection is enormous. It's a quiet, three-story space full of beautifully preserved Native American artifacts, Western art, and historic collections that feel both intimate and deeply respected. We came in just hoping to learn -- and left with a whole new appreciation for everything this place holds. Admission was $15 per adult, with a small senior discount for my mom. Tribal and Native members are welcomed in for free. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and clearly proud of the space. They even allowed my sister to bring her leashed dog inside, as long as he stayed calm -- a thoughtful, trusting gesture we really appreciated. Each floor has its own character: * Top floor: An open gallery walk-through with art from the early to mid-1900s, where they also host art classes and community events. It felt calm, creative, and inspiring. * Middle floor: The main museum, with 5-6 rooms filled with Native artifacts, cultural pieces, and a separate vault room for antique weapons. Every display was arranged with care and depth. * Bottom floor: A rest area with beautiful leather chairs, a warm rug, Western art on the walls, and the most spacious, well-kept bathrooms we've seen in any museum. It felt like a lounge, not a lower level. The overall vibe was calm and deeply respectful. While it was a little tricky to photograph some of the exhibits due to lighting glare on the glass cases, that didn't take away from the beauty and storytelling in the collections. Other notes: * They accept Apple Pay * The gift shop is beautiful, with thoughtfully chosen, high-quality items * Everything is clearly maintained with care, from the exhibits to the restrooms Going to museums like this and supporting organizations that protect and share cultural history keeps authenticity alive. It's humbling, beautiful, and grounding in a way that's hard to put into words. We built real memories here and left feeling connected, inspired, and grateful. If you're anywhere near Klamath Falls, don't miss this place.
