We prefer to support local any chance we get so I remembered that my wife had shopped at a local shop a few weeks back and was very impressed. I went back through our texts and found this shop. We went in and were greeted by the wonderful owners Jim and Michelle. I let them know what I was looking for and they informed me that they were actually waiting for a fed-ex delivery later that day. Michelle immediately offered to deliver the flowers, or if I didn't mind waiting she could put something together with the inventory she currently had. While I was waiting Jim showed me the greeting cards that were hand-made by a local artist. He let me know that they allow local artists to sell their items from their shop. Overall I was extremely impressed with their exceptional customer service and they put together a very impressive and fragrant flower arrangement! They had small touches that made the experience very enjoyable- complimentary bread pudding to start, mini marshmallows for my daughter's hot cocoa, almond milk and oat milk, sugar cubes, etc. I would recommend checking out this tea place. BEWARE!!!!! The owners of this venue are extremely overbearing! When we went the day before the…read morewedding to set things up, the owner Jim went in and moved tables around after we had set them up how the Bride wanted them. He then got after the Bride that I the Matron of Honor was telling him what to do. When I was only making sure that things were set up how she wanted them. Then today, the day of the wedding the owner Joan made the bride cry, her husband Jim was "touching" some of the female guest after being told not too. When he was confronted about it they threatened to call the sheriff and have us removed. Before the wedding took place Jim showed my dad pictures on his phone of other bridal parties standing on the bunk house porch in robes! He also was helping himself to the beer that the Bride and Groom paid for! When you pay $3000 for a venue you expect to be able to set things up and have what you want, not be told to change things. The lady Joan then pulled me outside in the middle of the reception to yell at me and tell me how I ruined everything. She didn't even apologize to the Bride that she made her cry!! When my parents were leaving Jim stopped them and told them we were rifraf and he will be raising his prices and won't rent to rifraf like us! It sucks that after the deposit was paid we started hearing all of the horror stories. Wish we would have heard them before hand. We will never recommend anyone to use this venue!
