What a relief it is to have this trouble taken care of for you prior to your arrival on the beach. The chairs are sturdy and recline. Though the umbrellas are good for shade, this year they were placed closed together and they didn't stay in place. This year's set seemed quite pricey for what we got. We happened upon this shop (via the advice of locals). Mike put it together quickly, for free, and wouldn't let us give him any money. He was not only generous, but he was a good guy. He had a gentle, easy way about him - striking up genuine conversation with all of his visitors, like he was an old friend. I recommend either of his two shops to anyone visiting the OBX. I rarely give perfect scores to businesses. They most certainly deserve it. I heard him helping other people ahead of us in line and he knows his stuff.

We are so happy our home owner booked a tent with chairs for our week long stay. Both Mac and Chuck were very accommodating to us to ensure we had enough space to put out our additional shade devices for 16 of us. They text you in the morning with the location of your tent, tents are up very early and come done well after we leave the beach for dinner. Their chairs are comfortable and tents are very sturdy to withstand the OBX winds. We'll be back next year and hope to use their tents and chairs again.
