Ocean Breeze Water Park is basically a giant chlorine-powered happiness machine. The slides are awesome, the lazy river is dangerously good at convincing you that you have no responsibilities, and the wave pool had me questioning why I ever learned how to walk. 10/10 would absolutely pay money to get sunburned, lose my flip-flops, and spend the day looking for my kids while they're having the time of their lives. Great place, great atmosphere, and plenty of fun. Just remember: sunscreen is not optional unless you're trying to come home looking like a rotisserie chicken. 5 stars. Would drown again. read more

Really disappointed with the park. We are here on vacation and visited today with my sons who's 6. He's 46 inches and could barely go on anything. This summer, I finally had the chance to visit Ocean Breeze Waterpark for the first time, thanks to a trip with my summer camp. I have to say I was impressed! There's so much for the kids to enjoy, from thrilling slides to the wave pool, and I even learned they host adult nights so the grown-ups can have some fun of their own. One thing I really liked was the layout. Everything is spaced out perfectly, so you can stroll around and see all the attractions without feeling crowded or lost. The food choices inside the park were a pleasant surprise too definitely better than your typical "amusement park food." The kids had an absolute blast, and honestly, so did I. If it were up to me, I probably would've stayed floating in the Lazy River for the entire field trip. read more

Such a fun water park for us locals and tourists alike without the hassle of driving out to Williamsburg. The park is always clean and offers something for all ages. My family and I have been visiting this water park since 1991 and we still enjoy it every time we go. We get season passes every year and it's worth it. The season pass gives you access to events not offer to everyone like extended hours and bringing friends for free or at a discounted price. You could even attach a meal plan to your membership. We enjoy going early morning before it gets too crowded or too hot. Then we could go back later in the day and on certain Fridays we could enjoy a movie while in the wave pool. There are child and adult pricing options, as well as adding a meal plan. They still have a big jug of complimentary sun screen! I bring my son and granddaughter to the park every other Saturday all season. I usually rent a VIP cabana at about $100 a day. I do this so I will have guaranteed shade and I get food/drink service. Four weeks ago I paged the server every ten minutes (they usually respond in that time) for 1 1/2 hours and no one came. I went to the check in table and was told the pagers are not working. So I walked for one side of the wave pool all the way around to the other for food and drinks and had to make 2 trips. Two weeks ago I again could not summon a server and the bar tender had to come out from behind the bar to bring me food and drinks (her choice). The water level was severely low in all the features so you scraped your knees in the Lazy River or had to walk upright and the water only reached my hips. And the cement decks are sinking, leaving gaps where they shouldn't be. If I am paying $100 a day, I expect to get the service and activities I paid for. AND I am a Gold Season Pass Member!! I should get at least a 50% refund for no cabana service. At this rate I'm not sure I will be rejoining next year. Please, somebody, GET TI TOGETHER!!! read more

The last couple times I came here were a damn BLAST! All of the slides were amazing! Though its only four because my back got tore up because the two slides "Walk The Plank" and "Pirates Plummet" and the coconut drops and bamboo shoots get chained off cause there's no lifeguard there and while we're on the topic why do the lifeguards act so soulless like you could say "Hey how are you doing?" Came here after work with my hubby so we took advantage of the twilight deal, which is only like $24 per person. We rented a small locker for all our belongings then went in some slides. I haven't been to the park in about 25 years so a lot has changed. They no longer have the lily pads or the log roll but they now have something else and have two new slides where the log and lily pads used to be. We hit those slides first since there was no wait. They were pretty short and sweet, but were still fun. We did all the other slides. I was happy to see they still have jungle falls, although you don't get the mats anymore - you get inner tubes. And they also don't have that hidden slide in the cave anymore. It was replaced with a whole new big slide. There are also a ton of lifeguards. It didn't used to be like that. We decided to do a lap in the lazy river, which was a mistake. It was not at all relaxing. There were teenagers everywhere. They were walking and playing and running into you. They would also just hang out under the waterfalls so there was no chance at getting under there. It was just so annoying. We decided to get a beer at 6pm, which is apparently the cut off time for getting alcohol. The lady still gave us one anyways though since we had to go to our locker to get our wallet first. I'm glad we only paid for the twilight tickets and not an actual season pass as I don't plan on coming back. I'm glad we tried it out though as I've been curious. read more

Well I must say, I am not a fan of waterparks, but I do enjoy watching my family bask in the atmosphere. While I have visited Motorworld several times, this was my first time visiting this park. We were here July 4th weekend, on Saturday to be exact. We arrived about 5pm and did not have to wait in line. The lines were long but I believe this is due to persons purchasing at the gate. I purchased our tickets online prior to showing up and this saved a great amount of time. I did notice during the week, they offer discounted pricing after 4pm. I tried to get my family to go on Monday instead, but I guess Monday doesn't hit like a Saturday. Nevertheless, we did not have any issues parking and did not have any issues finding seating in front of the wave pool for four. The weather was perfect and from what I could tell the park was kept pretty tidy throughout. I did witness employees as well as guests keeping the park clean. There are cabanas for rent and at least 8 different water rides. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves. I did notice long lines at the concessions while at least two concession spots were closed. I meant to try the funnel cake, but the line was too long. Dippin dots are available too...love those! Overall, I would recommend you checking out this park. I believe this is the only waterpark in our area aside from traveling about an hour for the next one or two. Have fun and enjoy life :) read more

This was our first time here, after living in state almost 18 years. We were able to go as a part of Girl Scout day. The park is much smaller in comparison to water country. However, it is cheaper in price and there is free parking. So you get what you pay for. We arrived at 10:15 AM, this was 15 minutes after the park had opened. My son had managed to ride everything, and get in everything within two hours. The park is not that big at all. We debated about getting a cabana, but after knowing it was $130 we decided not to. We managed to find some chairs and sat in the shade most of the day. There are free life vest for kids to to use all over the park. There's 2 sit down bars for adults, which I enjoyed. What I didn't like was: The walls of the lazy river are rocks, real rocks. Even brushing up against it by accident, combined with the current is no fun. The park also needs more visible signs showing the depth of the water at the end of the slides. Overall we had a good time, especially since our admission and food was paid for. read more

Not as big as water country (busch gardens waterpark) but a really nice park if you want a reprieve from salt and sand in your suit. They offer pizza or grilled foods. We had burgers with fries, not bad and very reasonably priced. They have a bar by the lazy river, great spot for parents to hang, tiki style. They have a candy and slushie store too. The park staff search every bag coming in and each person has to have a metal detector waved over them. So no food or snacks maybe brought into the park. No problem with that but the food is terrible! We ordered 4 lunches at a price of $110.00! That was for hamburger and fries, cheesesteak and fries, two chicken tenders and fries, 3 large soft drinks and one bottle of water! I don't minding paying for food but it was not edible. Hamburger was so over cooked it could not be eaten. The cheesesteak had burnt pieces throughout and the chicken tenders way over fried. A 16 oz bottle of water $4.99! My advice eat a big breakfast and snack on a soft pretzel. Never get their food!!! read more

I have been coming to ocean breeze since I was 2 years old. This has always been a family friendly water park. It is in close proximity to the ocean front as well as the Interstate. This was my view from my chair. This a family water park. Moms and dads bring hundreds of kids here every day. My kids should not have to see someone's ass. I don't want to see anyone's ass either. Why do these women feel the need to show this out in public where there are children? Why do they feel we want to see this. I guess they have no consideration for others. I am trying to teach my girls about modesty and this person helped start a good conversation about what is and what is not modest. There were many more women dressed like this, not just her. Some had the curtesy to wear a wrap around or a cover up. (see through) but at least it was not so obvious. I don't know why a privately owned, family park does not have some kind of dress code. NO THONGS. All the breasts hanging out are bad enough. I walked past a woman on my way out. I sort of noticed her out of the corner of my eye. When I turned my head to glance in her direction, she bent over and was wearing a thong. Wham. There was this big bare butt right in my face. PLEASE PEOPLE. A fun time!!! We went for an end-of-summer experience and it was a blast! The kids really enjoyed wave pool and water slides. There were a lot of people, but everyone was respectful and the crowds are well maintained. We didn't opt for a cabana, but I will next time as it will provide guaranteed seating and privacy.
