These people went ahead and took me in to get a consultation on my wisdom teeth and told me I had an appt almost two months later just for them to say they have no record of me being there. The hours are not correctly posted it says they open at 8am on their window and online. We got here at 8 but they are not open. Our appointment was at 8:30 and just hoped to get in early to fill out paper work etc. the service was terrible workers are rude and appointments mean nothing. Even when you call a day before confirming appointment they seem to tell you the wrong info. My appointment was at 8:30 and they said sorry it says 9:30. So I called yesterday just to get confirmation and they gave me the wrong information. Overall most unorganized office. read more

STOP pretending your dentists are ENDODONTISTS!!! STOP lying to your patients!!! This place is dirty, and a terrible waste of time, by design. They only want to get the easy money. I was referred to this "establishment" because I need a root canal for calcified roots. There is special equipment needed. I was referred there because , Well they are supposed to have it and be able to use it. After all this is an "endodontist". Or so I thought. This was not a misunderstanding. I asked several times, while making my appointment, if my appointment was for an endodontist. They assured me "YES". They took x-rays and then told me, Oh we don't have the equipment to do that, we suggest pulling the tooth. But I was told you have the equipment for that. Oh but we don't. sorry. I think this a scam to get the easy money from medi-cal and nothing else. They never intended on doing any root canal. They just wanted an easy appointment that would pay. I am reporting them to medi-cal and the dental board tomorrow. I just found out that this office doesn't have an Endodontist. They advertise that do and will take your appointment for an endo, but not supply one. read more

The absolute WORST experience! Drove 3 times to Fresno Ca from Modesto Ca in need for a root canal, waisted time every time I've went there and would get sent back home and appt rescheduled for another month out! This place is a JOKE and the manager doesn't handle anything! Very rude even hung up and when I tried to call again they wouldn't pick up! They leave me with no explanation! Second visit here. Both times waited over 2 hours to be seen after being on time for the appointment. Service is fine, nothing spectacular, however these people are the only folks I could find to fix my 9 year old broken tooth with an open nerve. I can't wait until this is over to get her back into an office with expectations of providing good customer service in addition to the work. Very poor service. My appointment was at 8:30 and I was there at 8:25 made me wait for about 1 hour and few minutes. When asked they your appointment is at 9:30 and I said no it's at 8:30 and than she changed quickly than oh no we are waiting for a room people who came after me was seen early. read more

After years of issues with my wisdom teeth I was referred here. I live about two hours away and getting an apt where I live had a 6 month waiting list at least. After being so sick pregnant and only being able to keep soda down my teeth took such a hard hit and after baby I knew I'd have to get work done. My dentist told me about the waiting lists for my insurance in Modesto and gave me this option. After my navigation getting me lost in Fresno I arrive and after getting X-rays and seeing the dr he can do it the same day and save me another 2 hour drive and a babysitter another day. So I agree and now I am wisdom tooth free. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. I didn't know doing it in the same day was a option or I would have been sure to eat first because since I left I've been starving but, now it's done and I don't have to worry about it anymore. read more

On 11/1/18 I was referred to Ocean Dental in Fresno, CA by a low-income program in Madera, CA that helps pay your medical bills if you don't qualify for Medi-Cal. I was under excruciating pain and I needed three of my wisdom teeth removed, but I couldn't afford to pay such procedure. When I went to Ocean Dental, I told them my situation. They explained to me that I needed to pay a deductible (down payment) for the service they would perform once my application for dental aid was approved. I went ahead and paid $387.00 using a credit card that have for emergencies only. On the same day, they performed a Panoramic image on my teeth and a comprehensive oral evaluation which on the receipt it totals to $50.00. It also showed a credit balance of $337.00. I was supposed to go back to get my wisdom teeth removed, once my application was approved. Unfortunately, a few weeks later I found out it was not approved so I couldn't get the extraction done. When I tried to reach out to Ocean Dental and let them know that I wasn't going to move forward with the procedure, they refused to refund my money ($337.00). At this point, I have contacted the manager (don't remember her name) on several occasions and explained to her my situation, but she was very rude and dismissive. All I am asking for is my money back. I am currently not working so I cannot get my wisdom teeth removed. My credit card company is going to start charging me interest if I don't make any payments. They didn't perform the agreed upon services; therefore, there is no reason for them to keep my money. read more

I was recommended this Dentist because what I needed done required an oral surgeon and I could not be happier with this recommendation. When I called they were able to see me that day as an emergency walk in after I was scheduled to come back in and I just left my appt and I was in and out in less than an hour mind you I had two teeth pulled definitely would recommend this dentist to everyone great staff super friendly and they take care of your needs. Four stars because the staff was really friendly and everything was fully explained. The dentist went over all my teeth and gave me options. I need two roots canals and crowns and had to be referred here from another dentist office that couldn't perform those procedures. I am on medi-cal and was told this was not covered. Ridiculous but ok, whatever. Was given a price of $4900 for those two teeth. You have to pay 70% down then pay off remaining within 6 months. That's a lot money to begin with and then to have to pay more than half that to start the process is hard to do. I don't have money which is why I'm on medi-cal! Then of course there is a medical credit card program you can apply for. Not saying this is a scam but it seems all these businesses are in cahoots with this process. I went online to denti-cal and got a list and made an appt with another dentist. Everyone please get a second opinion before doing this or pulling your teeth. I am so happy and impressed with this place, I will never go anywhere else in town again. After a nearly year long saga trying to have a tooth extracted with *ahem* a different dentist in town, I came across Ocean Dental. They were able to make me an appointment in two weeks, but told me about walk-in hours in case I couldn't wait (which I couldn't as the tooth has became abscessed.) I went in the following morning. You guys, I was in and out in well under 2 hours. That included waiting in the lobby, getting my xrays, signing paper work, and actually having the tooth pulled. Everyone was SO freaking nice and the main dentist that pulled my tooth did in what felt like 10 seconds. Again, I am so impressed. Such a great experience all around (minus the losing my tooth part.) read more
