I moved to Coarsegold from the Bay Area and hadn't yet identified a new dentist. It started the night a veneer fell off, front and center of my smile, the night before flying out for an important event the next morning. Panicked, I reached out to Dr. Ohanesian and to my amazement, he texted me back (at 11PM!) and had me come in before normal working hours in order to squeeze me in. He completely saved the day! I just went back to take care of a couple of things and just can't say enough regarding how kind, patient, compassionate, funny, and what a great dentist he is. Making a living is of course important, but he is clearly not in it just for the money. This man clearly loves what he does. He has integrity. He encourages saving teeth when possible instead of more profitable alternatives, goes at your pace financially, and is super respectful --He goes above and beyond to best serve his patients, and every member of his staff is equally nice! He was incredibly thorough, gentle, and patient throughout the entire process. His kindness and empathy made me feel so comfortable, especially at a time when I was really overwhelmed. He explained everything clearly, made sure I felt safe at every step, and the quality of his work is unreal - he did an amazing job. I'm so grateful to have found him. If you're looking for a dentist who actually cares, listens, and delivers exceptional results, I would highly recommend Dr. Ohanesian. Truly one of the best!

I asked for a referral to a specialist due to pain after they worked on me and they referred the wrong information to look at did not communicate with me at all on the process. They took X-rays and did an exam, and got me set up with an endodontist for a root canal. One thing to note (important, but not necessarily negative): I have Delta Advantage dental coverage, and the office does not take payment directly from them (though, as a courtesy, they do submit the claim). You have to pay up front and get reimbursed. From my limited experience with their care and demeanor, it's worth it. Now that the emergency has passed, I've scheduled a routine checkup and intend on becoming a regular patient.

They got me all the paperwork I needed as a new patient and informed me that they would be able to get me in to see the dentist today. I had been fighting an issue with a toothache for 4 days which was causing me extreme headaches. My fear was that I was going to need to have that tooth pulled and they weren't going to be able to help me today. I was able to get in to see the dentist get an X-ray of problem tooth and have the tooth extracted. I was so relived that they were able to fit me in. Everyone I interacted with was so nice and listened to my concerns. I am extremely pleased with my visit and I already have another appointment set to come back in. Appointments with dental work specifically (cleanings, fillings, etc) are easy to reschedule within a few days of your original appointment which I appreciate due to my busy work schedule. However one area they could definitely improve on is their availability of their Sure Smile (Invisilign) appointments and services. This office HEAVILY pushes invisilign and has signs and plaques all over the office claiming they are in the top 1% of invisilign providers. However these appointments are very difficult to come by. If I have to reschedule an appointment to get my new aligners, the average wait time is a month to get a new appointment. One time, my aligners were lost in the mail and the office had to reschedule and it was 6 weeks out to reschedule. It's pretty annoying and creates a significant setback for the treatment schedule. I feel they should have more RDAs to provide these services since they push it so much.

Called around but OnCall Dental kept up with the return calls on helping me book my appt & offering diff payment options due to not having dental insurance. The next morning Jen got me in in 1.5hrs! The office is very clean, had good energy & aura about it. Genevieve is an absolute doll! Very informative, caring, attentive. Dr Gates is a magician! Great bedside manner & very thorough. I understand the reason behind canceling but his office could have had the decency to notify all of his patients who were waiting for dental procedures that his office no longer took medical insurance for those services. I've seen Dr. Mirelez on so many commercials or infomercial and the way he talks speaks about being compassion and you would think he would have a little more empathy for patients who can't afford to pay for dental care and need that medical insurance to help pay for their treatment. Sometimes his office staff just needs to work a little bit harder to recover funds from the insurance companies! I cared for my chronically ill wife for 30 years took medical leave from my job for 12 years. That's what true patient care is!!! Now I needed dental care and was waiting for my medical and dental insurance to activate but to be let down by Dr. Mirelez and his office staff!

The crowns, both dentists were the same, just as amazing! The office experience, Claudia and her staff r rock stars. They always go up and beyond their jobs, for example, my husband had the temp crowns put in, but we were in LA on and off for 6 months, they worked with another dentist to put them on shipping them and all X-rays etc. We ended up unexpectedly back in Fresno and brought crowns, again, they jumped into action helping us get that done.
